My new aftermarket stereo has a terribly glossy screen and reflections from the sun are pretty painful. After putting this on the screen, they're still pretty bad. The glare still washes out the whole screen, but I suppose it's not as much of a point-light sort of glare, and more of a smeared, blurred very bright glare. It's basically a sheet of diffusion material put in front of a single light bulb. Still really bright, just a larger, smoother bright spot.It impacts the image a little bit, but mostly acceptable. Touch sensitivity on already-garbage resistive touch screens isn't really impacted much either, so at least there's that. But hey, at least my screen's protected, for whatever that's worth.
