I like this boxing reflex ball set! Nothing fancy, a couple of headbands and some balls on elastic string. Instructions seem to be written by non-native English speakers, but that's probably one reason they're very affordable. I don't get fancy. Just tied one of the balls to the head band and started punching away. Once I get in a groove it's enjoyable and seems a good exercise. Don't see much that can "wear out" on these, so I am confident it will last for quite a while. Only used one of the balls yet, but I'm happy so far. Might try some of the others with the second head band, or just keep them as spares in the handy carrying bag provided. Would make a great gift!
