I got these for my 6-year-old. They seem to fit well. There is Velcro at the wrist so we are able to adjust the tightness on them. He uses them very, very lightly, but they seem to have good padding and offer protection. As far as the quality, they seem well made. I looked them over, and didn't see any issues.
