It's a box. Slightly more expensive than I thought they should be but on comparison to others best deal. Size is perfect for shipping golf clubs. I usually cut them down slightly. Sturdy enough for shipping but not so heavy that you are paying to ship a box.

These boxes are a good quality and can hold several golf clubs in each box (Glad I read the reviews on other boxes so I didn't get anything thin or flimsy).I've purchased these three times since they are a great quality. I had purchased another brand, but they are a bit more expensive now.I've had up to six clubs in one box and had no problems. Shipped 10 irons once, but I put one box inside of another box to make sure it was strong enough. I think it may have been alright with just one box, but I wanted to make sure they made it without any issues.

Would have been ZERO stars if that were available. Garbage, these can't be anything more than factory seconds as even Stevie Wonder could have seen the problem with quality control. Both the full length folds and the end flaps are folded and cut in the wrong place, as a result you cannot properly close and secure the end flaps, that's unless you want to ship something in a trapezoidal shpped box. As a result the box is now of an odd shape and outside the stated 48x4x4 dimensions, i.e. one side is now closer to 5" instead of 4" and the opposite side is less than 4". Second time I bought from this company, second time being ripped off with QC problems, will be returning these for a full refund and will have to buy from another vendor who isn't sleeping their way through the workday. Maybe when they are losing money they'll wake up but not counting on it. Good riddance, BOX USA

These are a little hard to open, they can tend to twist a little in the center but not enough that it stops them being usable. Purchased them to mail golf clubs and so far no complaints - good price, very fast delivery and happy with them

I use them to ship baseball bats I sell on ebay and they work great! Can cut down to fit to size.
