Just as described. Works perfectly for lighting candles, starting wood grills, and fireplaces. Also worked great for kebab—just make sure that you pack the food fairly tightly so that there are no long sections of wood exposed to heat. For grilling foods, I think it would have been better had I soaked them in water beforehand.They also been handy for staking short plants.

I needed a way for children to easily light tall taper candles during a candlelight ceremony, and these taper sticks worked beautifully. The kids used an unobtrusive votive to light their stick, then gracefully lit the tapers in a candelabra. Perfect!

We use lots of tea candles, and these are great for holding a flame as we light the candles. Well packaged, and arrived on time. A quality product.
