We first received this item as a Christmas present, but upon removing it from the box, we found that the top of the bow had broken and was hanging on by the wrapped part around the grip. I placed the return, and ordered another, but it was delayed several weeks. I am guessing there was a bad batch in manufacturing because the one we received today was slightly different with much sturdier construction. It is very functional, with a nice draw for our 7 year old. The arrows have silicone tips but can have some force behind them! Very happy with the replacement.

This is a high quality bow for kids! The arrows are real wood, so they fly straighter than junky plastic models. The safety tips could still cause a bit of damage at close range, so it's recommended to use with supervision. My 6 year old nephew loves it! It is definitely high quality for the money.

Very pleased about the quality and looks of this bow and arrow set. Worth the extra dollars compared to plastic sets. A perfect intro, first ever given to a delighted 5 year old who quickly mastered it. Would not hesitate to buy again for others.

Kid loves it but the arrows all broke really easy with my 2 yr old around to sabotage! Bow is really nice quality and won’t break! Great size for 8 yr old and my 2 yr old handles it nicely! Guess buy extra replacement arrows cause your kid is going to love this and need them! But it you won’t regret it.

While we love how far the arrows can shoot and the bow is still useable, the wood broke right near the rope the first time we used it. Makes me doubt the durability of the bow.

Superb quality! I got this bow for my 5 year old son, and it is absolutely wonderful for him. It's the perfect size; the string is taut; the bow has a hole in it to guarantee easy loading and firing. The arrows are really cool too - the tips are rubber and don't harm, but the force of the bow does allow them to penetrate cardboard and paper targets. The design is allowing for some great archery learning. My son really loves that it's "real" and not one of the plastic kind. Excellent toy for kids and we'd buy again!

Je suis assez satisfaite de mon achat.je pense juste que les cibles ne servent pas a grand chose du fait que les pointes de flèches sont en caoutchouc et donc ne peuvent pas se planter dans une cible.Tout le reste est très bien.

My boys have enjoyed shooting these in the backyard and getting the neighbors interested too. The rubber tips give me a bit of piece of mind though we still practice proper range safety. The quiver has been a big hit and also that it is not a cheap plastic set. A few of the arrows were curved but customer service was responsive and sent a replacement. Our family recommends!

Habe den Bogen von Bowrilla für meinen kleinen sechsjährigen Sohn bestellt, da ihm das Bogenschießen schon längere Zeit großen Spaß macht.Da ich selbst den Bogensport ausübe, wollte ich für ihn keinen Kinderbogen aus Plastik.Der Bogen wirkt durch das Holz wertig und hat eine tolle Optik.Der Bogen kommt gut verpackt mit Pfeilen, Köcher und einer Aufbewahrungstasche.Die Sache mit dem Köcher ist für ein Kind richtig toll, da es sich wie Robin Hood fühlt und die Pfeile nicht in der Hand umhertragen muss.Der Bogen selbst fühlt sich gut an und hat eine angenehme Größe. Auch der Auszug des Bogens ist für einen 5- bis 8-Jährigen meiner Meinung nach optimal.Selbst Zielscheiben aus festerem Papier sind für die ersten Schießübungen dabei.Was man bei dem Bogen und den Pfeilen nicht vergessen sollte, ist, das sie aus einem Naturprodukt hergestellt wurden. So ist es nun mal normal, dass ein Pfeil in dieser Preisklasse nicht zu 100% gerade sein kann (wir reden hier nicht von der Profiklasse, in der ein einzelner Pfeil mal schnell gut und gerne 15 € bis 20 € kostet!).Aber selbst da hat der tolle Service von Bowrilla eine ganz einfache Lösung:Man hat mir von sich aus, nachdem ich gefragt wurde, ob ich mit dem Produkt zufrieden bin, direkt per Mail einen Ersatz angeboten, ohne dass ich diesen überhaupt angefordert hatte.Das nenne ich dann Service und das sogar an einem Samstag!Abschließend kann ich nur sagen, dieser Bogen ist ein tolles Geschenk für Kinder, die sich auch nur annähernd dafür interessieren oder einfach gerne mal mit einem Bogen schießen wollen - und welches Kind mag so etwas nicht gerne mal ausprobieren!?Die Pfeile sind für Anfänger geeignet, da die Spitzen aus einem sehr flexiblen und weichen Gummi bestehen. Trotzdem darf man damit nie auf Personen oder Tiere zielen, sondern nur auf feste Gegenstände.Tip: Ein kleiner Strohballen, den man für 3 € beim Bauern bekommt, funktioniert hierfür super.Ich hoffe, ich konnte mit meiner Rezension weiterhelfen und wünsche viel Spaß beim Bogenschießen!!!
