My 5 year old nephew loved it. He started playing with it after he opened it. He received several gifts but he kept going back to the bow & arrow. It is a perfectly safe gift for a 5 year old.

After multiple nerf battles I was actually very happy that being shot by this was a lot softer and there were less arguments! Big win for me! My son loves it. It perhaps does not shoot too far but it’s fun and safe

I ordered seven of these for a birthday party. Two would not fire. One wouldn’t fire well. Of all the arrows, only one was a dud. The other four bows worked pretty well. We ended up putting them all together and figuring it out with enough time I could get two nerf bows as subs for the defective ones. These are not as powerful, precise, or well made. Purchase knowing that they are what they appear to be, a cheaper alternative to the name brand that will have a lower level of quality.

1st--THE TIPS OF THE ARROWSThey are morphed really bad. None of them came in even remotely flat (see 1st photo). So there was no chance of them sticking to anything.2nd--THE CLIP OF THE ARROWSThe part of the arrows that is supposed to clip to the string are completely flat on the inside so they don't hold to/click into the bow's string at all (see 2nd, 3rd, and 4th photos). You'll notice that when putting the arrow onto the string, that part is uniformed in shape, so it won't hold to the string. So it falls or slips easily and makes it harder to handle.3rd--WHEN SHOOTING THE ARROWYou can't hold the arrow like you typically do. Each time we tried (pulled back and released the arrow), the arrow would stay in its chamber, fall off the string, and the string would smack back hard on the forearm. It would never shoot the way you typically shoot arrows. The ONLY way you can shoot them, is if you pinch 🤏 the back of the arrow and the string together, pull back, then release. The arrow would fly a decent distance, but if you want a legit experience...this is not a good bow and arrow set.4th--IT CAUSES PHYSICAL PAINWhenever you try and shoot, the string smacks your forearm really bad each time, no matter how tight or loose the string is. It only took a few times before it left a mark... Professionals wear forearm guards, but I didn't expect such pain in a child's bow and arrow set. And there doesn't appear to be any warning about it either.Lastly, 5th--THE ARROW'S HOLDERThe container that holds the arrows, doesn't have any clips or anything to keep the band from falling through (see 5th photo). Perhaps that was by design so you could adjust it and then just tie a knot at the end, but it'd be better quality if it had legit adjustable parts like a backpack strap does. So wasn't very impressed with it in that regard. So overall, I wouldn't recommend this bow and arrow set. Many, many people raved about it in their reviews and so they clearly got a really good one or it was good enough that they didn't mind the issues, but from the one we received, it's not something I would recommend sadly, and I am returning it...

Quality is so cheap. The arrows are made up of thin plastic and when you throw the arrow its getting broken.

This bo and arrow set was a huge hit with our 5 year old! It includes the Bo which has a light/sight, arrows, carrying sling, target and ninja mask. All of the items are study and well made! The arrows have suction cups on the end so they are able to be used inside. The price of this set made it an easy purchase and I’m very happy with the quality!

I bought this as a prop for my play. It worked perfectly for the show, but I don’t think it would work as well for a children’s toy. The strap of the quiver is really short, so we could not use it in the show because it did not fit the actor. Also, the suction ends of the arrows do not suction to surfaces. The set comes in a nice box with everything zip tied inside. Overall, this worked wonderfully for my play and I am happy with the results.

Delivery was fast, as usual. The ninja mask was in a plastic pouch and the rest of the toys were in place.Everything was easy to assemble and to work with. For reference, I have an almost 2 year old, an almost 4 year old, and I live with my teenage sister-in-law. I got this mainly for my 4 year old but everyone was playing with it, even my husband! It became a fun family activity when we tried it.Of course my 4 year old had to practice a couple times to “shoot” the arrow but it was doable. The next day she was getting good at it already. The suction of the arrows were strong, the garter of the bow was adjustable and it lights up! You just need 2 AAA batteries.Overall this is a really fun toy for everybody. And it seems really durable, my 2 year old plays with the bow, he presses the light button and is a bit rough with it but it held up! Yay!

My 4.5 year old has been asking for a bow and arrow set to be like "Link" (video game character). I wanted to get him something that actually worked- not just a prop- but wasn't powerful enough to be dangerous to him or his younger siblings. This toy is a good "in between". It shoots well enough and far enough that he doesn't get frustrated with it but doesn't have the power to hurt someone. I know from experience because I got hit right in the forehead while he was still perfecting his "aim" (so he said). It was a surprise, but not painful. I like the suction cup ends because they are soft and its fun to aim at the windows or door and get them to stick. My only complaint is that it only comes with 3 arrows and I know it won't be long before we lose or break them. We've actually already managed to break one in half. Not the fault of the toy- my kids are rough on toys and it shouldn't have been left out where the toddlers could play with it- but it would be nice if it came with a few more or if we could buy extra. We only allow it to be used with the arrows outside b/c I don't like projectiles in the house, but it turns out to be a fun toy for pretend play inside because of the LED lights (3 modes). According to my 4 year old, if you get "shot" with the flashing lights on you are frozen but if the light is solid you catch fire. Or something like that. I always have to have the rules explained to me or I get it wrong. So even once we lose or break the arrows it'll be a fun toy for imaginative play/dress up.
