Boulder Creek has gone completely downhill. It was virtually the only brand my big and tall husband could find that fit, he's a 6'4" 6x Big. Now almost everything gets returned for horrible inconsistent quality. This jacket being the worst so far. I bought it for him for Christmas and paid full price over $80. By the time Christmas came around it was past the return window.It sort of fit him and was in the size he normally wears from Boulder creek, but is a not great cut/design which contributed to the ill-fit. Since we were stuck with it I figured i would wash it so he could maybe try to wear it, washed it on gentle cycle in cold water and hung dry. It now fits like it's 2 sizes smaller. Barely comes to his waist, the outer flannel shrank causing the lining to roll up the outside, sleeves don't even come to his wrist. So now he still doesn't have a jacket and I'm out $80+ . Very unhappy. Not inclined to give overpriced fickle quality King Size/ Boulder Creek any more of my money.

As a big and tall individual, it’s hard finding clothing that fits, let alone of quality. The fit was nice, not too tight but also not too baggy. However, withen the 3rd day of me wearing the jacket, 3 buttons got snagged and ripped off with little resistance. I will say the removeable hood was a nice touch, but that hood itself fit on my jacket like it belonged on a size Medium. My personal opinion, I don’t think it’s worth $70 and the quality could be better. It did however keep me warm but might want to throw a sweatshirt under it for weather under 40°, in my opinion.

After ordering and returning 4 other similar jackets, none of which fit properly, I ordered this one for my son in law. It was a perfect fit for him to wear a nice sweater underneath. He told our daughter that “this is the nicest gift he’s ever received, and he loves the lumberjack look of it”.

I ordered 1 size bigger thanks to my intuition. I suggest you do the same for a comfortable loose fit if you're really tall and overweight like myself. I'm 6'5" 550 lbs and ordered the 8 XLT fits just how I need it.

Order this for my son, order the 3XB over all it is as described. Had tried 3XT the length was good but sleeves to long so ordered this one. The sleeves were just right but then the length was way short. It would be nice if all sizes were at least 3 inches longer so if when a person bends over half of there back doesn't show.
