These are not shy. It's a solid, good quality metal bell (I only need one). I have a young dog who is loose in the house, but can get into mischief if he wanders off. I was having trouble distinguishing his dog tags' jingle from our older dog's tags, so this makes it perfectly clear where the pup is. The rings that come with them are sturdy, but allow the bell to hang low enough to be chewed or mouthed, so I put it on a shorter clip.

Sturdy bell, well made and weighs just enough . We can hear the bell across 3 acres and loud sounding bell- works superbly and was reasonably priced.

I bought the Bouclel 2-Pack Pet Bells for Dog Collar Charms for my wiener dog, Archie, because I thought, "Hey, these will be cute and functional!" I was wrong. So very wrong.First off, these bells are LOUD. Like, I’m talking "the sound of 10 church bells ringing in my ear while I’m trying to sneak a midnight snack" loud. And here’s the kicker: My wife LOVES them. She has attached them to the back door so she can hear me trying to sneak out at night like some kind of guilty teenager. And then, for some unknown reason, she also attached them to the fridge. You know, so when I try to secretly get some snacks at 2 a.m., the bells betray me.Archie? He’s oblivious, happily prancing around like a little bell-wearing angel. I, however, am a prisoner to these jingling little terrorists. Every time I try to make a break for it, I feel like I’m in a spy movie, only instead of getting caught by enemy agents, I’m being caught by my wife’s increasingly smug face. But here’s the kicker: Despite the constant frustration, I can’t bring myself to take them off Archie. Because, in some sick way, they’re the best 5 stars I’ve ever given. They work exactly as advertised—they track my every move and make sure I never get away with anything.

Have purchased twice. Should come with a snap clip instead of a "key ring" to facilitate removing from the collar. Perfect size for a dog and is good quality!

Been reading reviews and trying to find a bell to attach to my dog’s collar for when we are out walking trails. Dogs don’t seem to mind at all. Small enough to not bother them and the sound of the bell is great for the size. Reviews on these bells were good so I decided to give them a try. Very happy with the product. Seems like they will hold up well. Very pleased with the product for the price. Would definitely recommend.

It can withstand the abuse from a goat. The big ring it comes on is large enough to thread a collar thru, which is nice. That eliminates the need for a clip, which sometimes weakens and the bell can be lost. It does have a loud high pitched ring. The 1st day I found it annoying, but I got used to it. I can hear my goats a good distance away, which I like. Not too sure I'd like it on a dog collar in my house tho lol.Pretty looking bell's and a good value for the money. They've been wearing them a few months now and still look like new.
