I requested and received “for free” this MULTI-COLORED STROBE BATON LIGHT to test and give my honest opinion. Unlike the other style of BATON STROBE LIGHT I received in the past that were ALL BRIGHT WHITE, this one is multi-colored and does not seem to be as DISTURBING bright as the white ones.. YES, but still bright and pulsating. These are well constructed from Aluminum Alloy and the 36 LED beads are covered in a clear hard plastic. They do look like the baton used in relay races (hey, another use for them) and are pretty large and tall. Did mention they are BRIGHT!! If you want to remove the hollow bottom half, just be certain you are removing the hollow tube and NOT the light base touching directly above that. That section has wires attached to the LED section and you may rip out the fine electrical wires. Besides the STROBE mode you also have a bright steady mode and a low steady mode. The bright mode is bright enough to illuminate a good area around it (like a party dinner table top and the low mode is great to light up small table size areas on a patio or on the beach. May have to get some more!!!!Ordering as a Vine member does not mean I’m getting "free products".. Between my time for testing the product, doing an honest review and the FEDERAL AND STATE INCOME TAXES I am liable for because I am "receiving items of value in lieu of wages" that are based on the LIST PRICE with no coupons allowed to be used, there is a real cost to these items "paid for" by me. Since most of the items offered to VINE Member are Brand New to the market, never on the market before, MANY TIMES the price drops or coupons become available to every Amazon buyer a week or so after VINE Members orders them at FULL LIST PRICE. This really affects any cost savings VINE Members may end up with.. ALSO, for the brand new items there are no REVIEWS YET (that why we get to do this) so many time we order items that are total junk and we are stuck with them and the tax liability. So far I have been having a great time "doing my VINE job", and I hope to continue doing it for quite some time....

This baton light is made of good quality materials, it works as expected, and I really like the colors. It does NOT circulate through the colors, though. It's all bright, all dim, all strobing, and all off. Overall, it's a good value for the price and recommended.

I was impressed by the brightness of this light. Please don't stare at it when turning it on! I was less impressed by the lack of an instruction sheet or even a QR code on the brown box it came in. This is cool and could have lots of uses. One in each corner of a room could have quite an effect. Definitely nice for my deck on a Spring Evening. If you're slightly tempted, you should probably go for it. Like me, you'll find a number of uses for it.

Ok I got this for a party and damn near blinded everyone and then gave them a headache with the strobing feature. You can easily slip this over the neck of most champagne or whiskey bottles. However the lights are super bright. There is no ambiance as you CAN SEE everything. In fact I actually used this light as a flashlight to get into the basement. And if you put it on flashing, someone is bound to have a seizure. If you could dim the light or have it in different colors, it might be fine. If you want to touchup your make up when you have bottle service, this is for you

Sure it works for Bottle Service light up or for attracting attention or spotting your group at a rave. But I ordered this with a different purpose in mind. I hoped it would be a light that could be used in evening on a walk. It serves that purpose quite well. It is 1.57 inches in diameter so OK for holding one in each hand. It is lightweight so can fit in pockets or a windbreaker until needed. When at maximum brightness it can light your way without blinding you to distant objects. A needed compromise, on thinking about it. It is a bit too lightweight to stand on its own as a distress hazard beacon but if you added a base then maybe that's another innovative possible use though it is not bright enough for the visibility that needs.Comes with two not just one charger. Thoughtful. Unlike the light batons, the chargers were a bit cheaply made with indicator LEDs that were different in color but they work and they are not intended to charge delicate electronics - just a battery for the lamps. The aluminum lights were lightweight aluminum with 36 lights in linear strips. Switch is on top. Charge port on side of each baton.You can see what the items look like in sellers ad photos. Attached are photos to show nearby illumination output effect. Cut and formatted to try to fit. Images from cellphone camera with same settings of scene about 6 feet away. So when I bought them I states in the description that they needed to be charged for a few hours. So as soon as I got them I took them out of the pack and plugged them both in. I turned around (5 seconds it was plugged in) and heard a poof and could smell burning plastic. I look at the outlet and I could see that it was black. So I rushed to unplug it. The outlet was black and the charger was melted. In seconds. The other was fine but I still unplugged it. So I’m hoping they will have enough charge for the short time I need them. And I don’t recommend charging them unless you are there to watch them. Very very scary!!!

Bought these as a thank you for a club client’s marketing team & they love them so much. They previously used real fireworks candles, which were hit or miss & not upscale. They said they’re bright & beautiful. So far no complaints!
