I have an old Nissan Titan and all the speakers were bad so I changed them out with low cost JVC speakers but it had a "tinny sound" like the vocals were coming down a hallway. This fixed that for $10. I was amazed at the difference. Wired both of them in parallel in place of the center dash speaker because its a factory 2ohm system and sounds great! Really brings out the vocals.

So after having them installed for about 6 months now am very happy with the results. I have them hooked up in my 97 Ford Taurus with a Sony Xplod stereo and the sound is clear. I don't full on blast the radio but I do turn it kinda loud and there is no issue. The speakers have a built in bass blocker on the pos+ wire and filter out any speaker destroying sounds. There are different methods of mounting that are included, I used the flush mount and is fine but it does have "BOSS" in red on it. Other than that know when buying these that they are cheap and not meant for serious systems.**UPDATE 6/1/13**So after these installed for about a year now they just about blown. Kinda disappointed, liked them up until now.
