I've used this with my green beam laser. Even the green beam is difficult to read in bright light. This takes the guesswork out of it. Highly recommend.

In September 2024, I purchased a Bosch laser without a receiver later I purchased the receiver that Bosch recommended which did not work sent that receiver back and purchased a more expensive receiver still did not work proper and then January 2025 I returned the receiver, and Amazon sent me another receiver of the same type again, the receiver does not work as it paperwork explains when you first turn the receiver on you should hear a loud beep and when you’re using the receiver, it should beep when you’re above and below your target line and when you hit your target line it was a constant noise, but this does not work. You can only hear a very slight beep if you’re within a couple inches of the receiver when you’re above and below the target line makes it very difficult. To use. I did not suggest purchase this product to work with their 300 laser. Have contacted Bosch and cannot resolve the problem bench Stonewall for Three months bar beware

Very sensitive and transforms the usability of my Leica red laser level in bright sunlight.Will only work with the laser in pulse mode. Good simple clamp for a 2" x 2" timber post or most standard grade rods.

Easy to use, but make sure your laser is on pulsing mode or it will not work. My laser has a light that flashes when it's in this mode. Case is nice, it picks up the laser in bright sunlight, I tested the accuracy with a high dollar transit laser and this was spot on and a fraction of the price. Very accurate. Easy to see. Battery life is good.

Bought this receiver and it would not work at all with my laser levels. Spent hours going over several lasers manuals and the receivers manual to no avail. Went to buy a different brand and noticed they stated that their receivers ONLY WORKED WITH PULSED LASERS. Bought another Bosch with a PULSED LASER and it worked instantly. Perhaps this should be the first thing on their advertisements for the receiver. Just saying. P.S. Don't call malfunctioning equipment a brick because that goes against Amazon community guidelines.

Its works but falls very short of what it should do. I purchase this receiver to use with the GLL3-330CG cross line laser in hopes that I could use the laser outdoors, however, the results were very disappointing. In full sunlight it seams like the receiver works but then it doesn’t. It works perfectly fine within a few feet of the laser, but at 60 feet the receiver has a very hard time locating the laser beam. I thought that maybe the heat from the earths surface was affecting the beam, so I waited until dusk with cooler temperature and gave it another shot. The result in cooler temps were better, for the receiver picked up the signal more than in sunlight, but it did so unreliable. Sometimes the receiver would pickup the signal then only a couple seconds later it would not pickup the signal. I should point out that the receiver is only picking up the signal with the laser being still. If you move the laser to try to toe it in or out, the receiver can’t pickup the signal even though it’s literally spraying a green beam on top of the device. I also have the LR10 receiver that’s used with a red rotating laser, and it works just like you expect…pickups the signal flawlessly and in both day and night settings. I don’t know if the LR8 receiver is at fault or if it’s the cross line laser, but it simply doesn’t work well enough to be useful outdoors. And, just to confirm, I did verify with the tech specs and this laser receiver is specifically listed for GLL3-330CG, and the manual for GLL3-330CG even lists the LR8 as the receiver to buy. Overall, I would not have bought this knowing what I now know.

El paquete llego en perfecto estado con todos sus accesorios y con los sellos de Bosch. De acuerdo a las especificaciones del producto debería funcionar con niveles Bosch. Sin embargo no logré hacer que detectara el láser rojo. Incluso fui a un centro Bosch autorizado en mi ciudad pero no lograron configurarlo. Para mi desilusión tuve que regresarlo por que no funciono.Editado: concluí el proceso de devolución. El producto es vendido por Amazon EE.UU. y lo compre desde Mexico, el producto pago impuesto de exportación. Amazon me regreso el dinero del artículo pero perdí el dinero del impuesto. Algo a tomar en cuenta si compran artículos importados y están sujetos a tarifas de importación, si el artículo que pidieron lo devuelven por que no funciono perderán el dinero del pago de importación.

I bought this to use with the green beam 3 line laser level and it works just as I expected. I immediately used it to level joists when building a deck in the bright WA summer sun where the line wasn't visible even at 5 meters and it worked admirably. It is not as fancy as the expensive rotary laser receivers but it does the same thing. A perfect piece to create a versatile laser system.
