I have used this bit with my Bosch Bulldog hammer drill and it cuts through effortlessly. Even thought this is a 7/8ths bit there was no need step up from a smaller bit!

This is a good set of SDS Plus bits. They are priced decently, especially for 4-blade rebar cutting bits. Nice case and good performance.Speed wise, they are just ok, in non-rebar embedded concrete my German made DeWalt 2-blade bits did cut faster. Country of origin is China while most other quality bits from brand names are made in Germany.Hard to tell so far about longevity so far.In summary, these perform well and are priced right but you pay for that by not getting German made bits.

I was so pleased with the performance of this 3/4 inch hammer drill bit. I had 57 pool cover anchors to drill in 14 year old concrete 2 inches deep. I already had a 3/4 inch hammer drill bit but it was used and just 2 cutting edges and I didn’t want to chance it. This 4 carbide tip bit stayed centered and the last hole drilled as well at the first one. I am completely satisfied and glad I purchased quality instead of lowest cost.

I was very impressed with the rate the bit goes thru concrete. It was nearly as fast as drilling thru wood with a wood bit. The extra pair of teeth are the reason. It is also the reason it is more expensive, but it is worth it.If the concrete has any rebar, these are a must! I tried a usual 2-tooth bit, and chipped a tooth off. (Good luck trying to sharpen that!) These 4-teeth bits will slow-down when encountering rebar, but just be patient and let it eat its way thru the steel. No damage to the bit. I'm sure it needs to eventually be resharened, but the rebar doesn't trash the bit.
