Green-beam laser measure is a fully featured tool with an easy-to-read color display, great accuracy and reinforced housing for durability. The Bosch BLAZE™ GLM165-25G uses green-beam technology, which generates a point/dot up to 4X brighter than standard red beams. The laser has accuracy up to +/-1/16 inch, plus it includes a rounding button that rounds the measurement to the fraction that best suits the application and haptic feedback for loud jobsites. The digital laser measure also offers an IP65 rating, and it has an ergonomic design for better grip. It includes 11 different measuring functions, including real-time length, length, area, volume and indirect functions, and addition/subtraction capability.

Very bright green dot, even in broad daylight. Accurate and easy to use. So much nicer than the Stanley Fat Max one I've been using for years. What a difference. Love it!

I've had four different laser measures over the years. Two were Swiss made made by Leica and we're good. I found this particular one is very comfortable to hold. It has a great screen and I like that it has a vibration function rather than a beep if you desire. It's a lot easier to know, especially in wind that the measurement took. Honestly, for $100 it is a fantastic and very easy to use machine. Because it has a big screen. I would highly suggest spending the additional $25 to $30 in getting the rechargeable battery that you can buy separately and it's made by Bosch. You can use a USB type-c to charge it. Because this thing will eat batteries more than a more basic one. The green laser is very bright and pretty easy to see even in bright sunlight. I work in real estate and this is the only thing I use for measurements.

The unit has a fairly intuitive interface, seems reasonably sturdy, and I like the holster. I've tried several indoor and outdoor measurements, and the accuracy seems solid. The real proof comes in the spring, when I can put it to use on an outdoor bridge project, but based on playing around so far, I'm optimistic.

I’ve owned many of these over the last 15 years. This is hands down my favorite.The green is much easier to see outdoors in the daylight.It also has the ability to upgrade to a rechargeable battery pack that Bosch offers. My only complaint about these was the rate at which they consumed batteries. Now with the rechargeable battery pack that is no longer an issue.Another great feature is that this model remembers the last mode it was in. With the older models I used to have to change the settings every time I powered them on. Specifically the “live measure” function that constantly updates whenever the laser is activated. This always seemed to result in more frequent errors in measurements so I would have to switch it to “single measurement” mode. (Solid line vs dotted line in the settings) With this model it remembers all the previous settings when powered off so it’s that much faster and easier to use.

Nothing not to like. Fast accurate. Takes measurements in a few seconds without a helper. Doesn’t solve trig problems like the really expensive models, but who really needs that. For most uses it’s the best there is.

I had no idea that laser measuring devices had advanced this much. Not only is the green laser so much easier to see in daylight & the measurements are accurate, but the functions this unit is capable of is huge. I'd say my favorite is that you can shoot a measurement then move forward or backwards and it adjust the footage you move to.

This has worked well for me for what I call rough measuring. I have used it both inside and outside. I measured a balcony/deck outside a house to get rough measurements for helping to select furniture. I used it to get measurements for my cousin's kitchen and bathroom as he plans for remodel work. Light to hold, instant readings, can set accuracy and other display settings, and AA powered (which I prefer over rechargeable). For detail measurements, I would then use a tape to be more precise. For general measuring, this tool is convenient and excellent.

this is a very nice measuring device. It is well made, and easy to use. It was a little more expensive, but I decided to go with the green light laser and now have no regrets. The green light laser makes it easy to target and to see on brighter days.
