Re-tapped a 9/16-18 argon fitting with this to use quick connects on my argon regulator. Worked fine. I prefer split dies but nothing to complain about with this die

Had a few teeth chip after turning two sets of threads but still functioned with the chips. Would probably be fine on mild steel.
