I have used this model of filter on my own Ford vehicles. The threads are 3/4-16 and will fit like a glove on older generation Ford Focus from 2001 to 2011 and all these first generation Ford 3.5 found on Edge, Flex, Taurus, Taurus-X, Explorer and so on. (Please check your model year and manufacturing date before purchasing). These filters are made with quality components, there is metal caps at each end of the filtering media and a pressure relieve spring inside. I haven’t experienced any failures with any of them in years. Most of them are manufactured in Mexico these days.

My go to economy filter. I I have customers who want a cheap change and don't want a premium filter that costs almost triple. This is the go to filter. Its well made with a good media and a anti-drain back value that has saved my customer. This is a great value purchase.

Boxes were broken apart and the filters didn't have a plastic cap over the filter opening so the filters were full of dirt i wouldn't use them so I threw them out would recommend these at all

I bought this filter because I like the Bosch brand. I checked Amazon and a few other sites to make sure it will fit my Dodge Nitro, and was assured it would fit. Upon receiving the filer, I immediately noticed it was smaller - shorter diameter. I quickly checked the model number again, and it still appears to be the correct part.This filter does screw in correctly, and the gasket ring lines up and seals well. I am just a little worried because the diameter of the filters I have been using in the past were larger.So far, I have not noticed any leaks and the oil level is the same, so it seems to be working correctly.
