Total rip off, price wise.But an easy install and they do work.I have been replacing these just about every two years. Maybe I am not gentle enough with the door, but I am not bashing it around.

Trying to save money with this particular order and one of the string component arrived with one of the end pieces missing/unattached. Useless. Had to return and purchase another (brand new) kit.

This product broke after 6 months, contacted them to get a replacement, they have not responded. Bad customer service and support for such an expensive yet small item.

This is easy to install, by far the hardest part is pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter far enough to get it done.The instructions are clear enough and written by a fluent English speaker. I didn't want to do this twice so I was glad for the assurance afforded by the instructions and some of the context they provided. In particular, the springs come in a number of "strength" or "force" levels. These are the lowest-force "Red" springs, appropriate for a washer that does not have a wooden facade attached to match the kitchen cabinets.Anyway, it was a fast job, works great now, and no reason to expect it's not going to hold up indefinitely. The part that did the actual breaking was plastic and the new one is metal there. Anyway, another 20 years like the first time is good enough for me anyway, even if it doesn't last longer than the first one :)I was glad to pay the extra few bucks for OEM so I didn't get any surprises with fit, finish, or part quality.

I only bought this kit because it was advertised as a "Genuine Bosch Dishwasher Replacement Part", after just 7 months it broke.This "genuine" part costs 3 times more than any other "compatible" part, so think twice and save your money.

Except for the rope connectors to the spring, everything fit as expected. The instructions were poor relative to connecting the rope to the spring and I had to trim some plastic nubs left when they were made to get them to slide into place. Price seems pretty high for less than $5 of materials. End of the day it worked well once connected.

I was able to install this in about 15 minutes. I did use a YouTube video to give me some demonstration of how to do it. Fortunately, I remembered to wear my low rise pants and so my wife was able to get a picture of my plumbers crack while I was working. She was nice enough to share that on social media, but I feel I deserve The credit. I’m definitely not a plumber, but I feel much manlier having installed these myself.

Once I looked on-line for some pictures or a U-tube, it became quite easy to perform the replacement of this part. I did not go along with the recommendation to turn off the water and disconnect the hoses. I was able to pull the dishwasher 95% out of it location and perform the repairs without disconnecting everything. One thing that was not in the u-tube was the lowering of the dishwasher before trying to pull it out. Suggest you count the wrench turns to lower it so when you put it back in you can then releveled it.
