The picture is misleading, and does not match the product. The picture shows a keyway, but this 1/2" ID pulley does NOT have a keyway. Otherwise okay

Bought this for a drive pully for my jointer. The variable pully size will allow me to set cutter speed for different applications. Others have complained about product polish, but frankly I don;t see the problem. What few burs or sharp edges are easily polished off with a bit of emery cloth. Likely no attention at all would be needed as simple belt friction would self polish any rough spots. These are nice castings with at least three separate machining steps. Then they sell for this bargain price? You want cosmetic perfection go ahead and buy another at way more money. I'm quite pleased with the product as is.Doc

I used a 1/2 inch drill rod as a shaft and had to grind it down roughly 1/32 inch to fit. It fits tight and works great for my application. This is a good product.
