The leg snapped the first time we used it. Just two people sitting on it each less than 150 lbs, well within the recommended weight limit.Don't buy it.

This is a very well made and easy to assemble bench that you can put near a door to allow for changing from indoor to outdoor shoes and vice versa. The shoes can be stored under the bench. We will also use it for supplemental seating for our dining areas, as needed. A solid and versatile bench.

I love the look of this bench. So much so that I have bought a replacement twice now. The bench is super stylish but with a weight limit of 300 lbs it can’t realistically support the weight of two adults. The first one I decided was defective and bought another. The second one I decided to be super gentle and only have one adult on it with a child. After the second broke I’ve decided it’s not worth it and will find other seating.

I purchased these as temporary benches for my dining table (the ones I wanted were back ordered). When I purchased them I thought the faux leather was black, to my surprise it was more of a dark purple/brown. So off to the fabric store I went. I easily spray painted and reupholstered that night them with a boucle fabric for under $100. Now they are gorgeous and my permanent benches!

I liked this bench so much I bought it however, I don’t have a place for it in my house, so I keep moving it around, but I’ll get there… It does look like it’s black in the photo even though the description says, chestnut brown, I assumed that was the color of the wood, but the pad is brown not black I guess I can deal with that. If I want to change it all I have to do is get some rub and restore black dye and it will be perfect peace.
