The BORA Centipede Wide Panel Supports help to support your project and are compatible with the Centipede workbench tops and all sizes of Centipede work stands. These four panels have a large, non-skid surface that holds any material firmly in place, and can be used in place of x-cup brackets or quick clamps. They fit perfectly into the struts of Centipede P-Tops to create an even stronger and stable workbench. BORA Tool is a global manufacturer of power tool accessories and a leader in innovative products that make your projects run smoothly.

If you want to cut on the Bora Centipede these are a must have. They prevent off cuts from falling into the legs which is invaluable.

These do exactly what they are intended to do. Not only do they help the materials stable they also give about an eighth inch lift from the centipede table top. Really nice.

Taken by themselves these wide panel supports are well made and should be a good addition for help me cut down my plywood panels. However, when considered as part of the whole Bora centipede system, I am disappointed both because of their high price and because of the lack of critical fit-up within the centipede system. The supports themselves are thick and well made so they do not flex across the padded area. However, when attached to the centipede, the centipede tops have so much looseness built into them that they can't maintain a level top across the wide support area. The farthest edge of the support can flex up and down quite significantly from the position of where the centipede top is. Also the wide support bracket just gets pushed into the hole at the top of the centipede stand with the stand top fitting into a hollow under the wide support. But there is no actual locking mechanism between the support bracket and the stand top; nor is there any sticky material, like with their centipede quick clamps to ensure the wide support bracket stays in the hole. This all means that the wide support bracket is easy to move or dislodge from its position atop the centipede.A second miss by Bora is that these wide support brackets do NOT fit properly on their Double P-tops adapters for their centipede stand. The hollow in the Wide support bracket that the normal centipede P-top fits into is created by extending the edge of the Wide support down so that it encompasses the top exactly. However, this wide support's edge configuration means that the wide support does NOT fit on top of the Double P-top correctly since an edge of the Wide support will always interfere with the additional lobe of the Double P-top. This seems to be a classic case of engineering staff coming up with great ideas but not doing full mock-ups of their accessories to ensure it works with all cases of how their products can be configured. Why would you want to use the Wide support on the Double P-top? How about having the wide support supporting a panel but also having a quick clamp used to ensure the panel doesn't move???Overall, these supports will help with keeping my panels atop my centipede stand (by gravity!) but I have a hard time trusting them to keep my panels in position if I want to cut them apart since there really is NO mechanism to ensure the panel stays in place once the panel is cut and only resting atop only 1 wide support.

If you own the Bora centipede system and are mobile.I repair fiberglass. Lots of hatches and stuff. These supports allow me to use the centipedes without a worktop.

I really loved the idea of being able to rip plywood sheets using my track saw without needing a sacrificial support. Unfortunately, these panel supports are too loose in the worktop holders of the Centipede and still allowed the plywood to collapse in and pinch the saw blade as I neared the end of my cut. I couldn't think of any other uses for them, so I sent them back.
