So the tips ony former 100 dollars boom sprayer fell off and they didn't sell replacement tips. A new boom with a 6' pattern was 100 dollars. For 20 dollars in PVC pipe fittings and this sprayer tip as you see in the pictures I am getting a 20' pattern with no issues using the 2.5gpm pump that is on my Chapin Mix on Exit sprayerThis requires some math to get applications right but chat GPT now makes short work of that.96 oz of 2,4D Broadleaf Weed Killer32 oz of Surfactant4oz of blue dye2.5 GPM of application3 oz per gallon mixed on exit20' spray patternDriving 3 MPHGets me close to 1.1 oz of 2,4D per 1000 sqftWith with my 15 gallon tank this give me 31,680 sqft per tank.Which in summary makes short work of killing weeds on 3 acres

I’ve previously owned an expensive boom sprayer for my atv that was extremely difficult to maintain and was basically trash. I’d seen a couple videos on YouTube of these and was honestly a little skeptical of what I was seeing. I bought one anyway and it’s amazing! I get a spray stream of 16-20 inches with a 1 gpm pump. A 2 gpm pump minimum is what’s recommended. This thing is awesome! It makes spraying so much easier.

Planning to use this to spray fertilizers and wetting agents in my 2.5 acre lawn. 20-22 ft spread at 44 inches off the ground with cheap pump purchased on Amazon ( 1.35 gpm). Was scared to buy since my pump isnt the recommended 2gpm but it turned out great. I also tested with my tank strapped to the lower step on the rear of my golf cart and had a 14 ft spread at 25 or so inches above the ground. Very happy

I read a lot of the reviews and I noticed a lot of people complaining about the spray pattern, Well here is my take on it. Check your pump and hoses. Any pump at around 2GPM maybe at fault and you may need a more powerful pump, My original pump wasn't producing enough volume, Possibly could also be the hose being used. Check for air pockets. Air Pockets can be a huge huge problem in any sprayer application. It may not be the nozzle itself that is the problem.I originally purchased this boomless spray nozzle while using only a 2GPM pump and hoses with an ID of around 1/4". It didn't do as well as I wanted and expected "Which was due to the pump not producing enough volume and hoses gathering too many air pockets". Once I replaced the pump for a more powerful 3.5GPM pump and new hoses with a ID of around 1/2". The nozzle has met my expectations completely. With the 2GPM Pump and smaller diameter hoses the spray pattern was not as expected "Hit and miss in a lot of places". The sprayer only sprayed approximately 13ft wide. With the 3.5GPM Pump the spray pattern was complete and as expected, It is now spraying at around 24ft wide with a full spray pattern as it should, Which is above the rating of the nozzle.

I purchased a boom with two nozzles that fit on the back of my Gator. I have about 3 acres to spray and I wanted to have something to get it done. Well, the boom and nozzles never worked right despite me messing around with height on the gator and pump pressure. It just never worked well. I saw this nozzle that would fit on my wand and thought what the heck - give it a try. I was totally blown away on how well this works. I can secure the wand on the gator tail gate, turn the wand on (with this nozzle attached) and spray 16 feet wide at 30psi. This nozzle is the best and so much less expensive than the boom contraption I tried. Make sure your pump meets the output requirements to run this. I can't recall what that is but I did look my pump up and it surpassed what was needed. You will also need a way to keep the wand ON while you spray. Mine has a lock on it that allows it to run with anyone holding it. I use the pump on/off switch to stop the spray while moving to other areas or stopping.

I mounted this nozzle 43 inches above the ground and my tank has a pump that delivers 1.8 GPM open flow and operates at 40 to 50 psi with 60 PSI cut off. This is not the optimum pump for this nozzle so I will be getting a 3 GPM pump. But with this sub-optimum pump the nozzle provided continuous fairly uniform coverage in a pattern about one foot front to back and 15 feet side to side. The coverage is superior to the old nozzle I was using.BTW, I noticed that one of the reviewer's pics shows the nozzle mounted vertically so that it sprays horizontally. That is not the correct orientation. It should be mounted so the nozzle sprays vertically downward. The wrong orientation results in less side to side coverage and over coverage in the for/aft direction which results in excessive dosage and waste of product.
