Super easy install and wow do you notice the throw for 2nd, 4th, and 6th gear. The shifter feels a bit more solid. It takes maybe a week of getting used to not having to travel so far in those gears.

This took all of 20 minutes to install, and corrected something Ford should've done years ago. Simple to install- seriously less than 20 minutes; and everything fit perfectly.Pros:This will shorten the shift throw to almost what Ford should've set up originally. Maybe just a 1/4" shorter than I'd prefer, but a massive, monumental improvement. This car is a snappy go cart - but with shift throws as long as an F-350, and the lever placed near the front bumper... this fixes some of that.Cons:The forward throw into 1,3,5 is well weighted and a 10+ improvment, but pulling back into 2,4,6 really doesn't change, and that leaves me feeling like there's a less refined or polished movement, even though the forward gears are so much improved. Or maybe it's because they are and the pull back cogs are not. And although this is an excellent and cheap improvement, it doesn't really address 100% of the original design issues - the big one being that the shifter is sitting 1" ahead of where it should be. Although the throws are exponentially better, shifting the lever still isnt reflexive- because its a reach to grab.Summary:YES. Do it. This will make the shift throws as short and precise as they should have been from Ford to begin with, but you'll still wishing the damn lever was 1" closer to your hand.

Super easy installation. Product works exactly as described. I used this along with the transmission bracket bushings and it really cleaned up the shifting. Very happy.
