Being a keen book reader, especially whilst I wake up in the morning with a cup of tea, this book stand makes the experience a lot more pleasurable.This is a lovely product constructed from quality materials. Being made predominantly from wood, it's not light, but the padding means that it doesn't feel too heavy when I rest it on my legs.The stand allows you to adjust the book to a convenient angle according to the lightning in the room.Highly recommended!

This book stand is really nice. The base is comfortable and the stand itself is made of real solid wood! It has adjustable positions and I really like the page holders and the extra storage is nice too. It’s a bit heavy but that’s because of the wood.

While I mostly use e-books these days, there are some instances where a traditional book works better. Shortly after buying the (excellent) 500-page "Producing Music with Logic Pro," I realized that I needed a better solution to holding it open to a page than laying a heavy pipe wrench on top. This Vigo fills the bill nicely. Not only does it adapt to a wide range of thicknesses, it can tilt the book to a comfortable reading angle. Its swiveling page-holder arms are slender and (mostly) do not block the view. I'm using it desktop initially so its padded case is not needed, but seems a smart idea. For the quality, it's a fair price.

I absolutely love this book stand! Not only does it hold my pages, leaving me to hands free reading, it also is good for using your kindle, phone, art if you're into drawing. The universal-ness of this book holder is pretty great. The bottom is nice and comfy for setting on your lap, and you can use it at multiple different angles and put all your bookmarks inside the storage while in use. 10/10 recommend, especially for book lovers!

I received this book stand as a Christmas gift. It is designed very well. The storage space inside of it is plenty big for a rather large book. The number of possible viewing angles is very good. The stand opens up very easily and holds the book very well.In its folded position, the stand is compact. Also, when shut, the lid of the stand is held fast by a magnet, so when you carry the stand sideways, there is no danger that the lid will swing open and all the contents of the storage space will tumble out of it.The stand is lightweight, so it's easy to carry around if necessary.It is so convenient, that I use it every day for hands-free reading.

The holder is super sturdy, comfortable, and makes it much easier to keep a book open, especially a thick one. The angle makes viewing the book easier on the eyes and relieves the hands from holding a book open.Love the storage this holder provides! Will be keeping my readers journal, annotation tabs, highlighters, and pens inside.It's pretty light, and locks when you close it, having a handle for ease of carrying.

Works really well and can hold thick books! It’s sturdy and well designed. Also comfortable on the lap. I like the wood elements with the cloth. The book holder ledge also flips up for easy storage. The rotating book feet/holders are easy to use and not stiff.

I needed help for when I was reading physical books since my tendinitis was getting bad. I was hesitant to buy this initially due to the price but it has everything I wanted (hardly any others did) and I’m so very happy that I did! It is SO well made, shockingly so - I think I was expecting China quality instead of this sturdy piece. The colors are even better than they look in the picture. I love the tilt (with adjustable slanting), bottom book rest with page clippers, the storage compartment and the firm cushion with comfortable fabric on the bottom. It all works effortlessly and seems very sturdy. I haven’t been this impressed with an Amazon purchase in a while. Would highly recommend, it is worth the price!

As someone with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and a lot of hand/finger pain, I can’t hold books up to my face anymore to read, but I also have neck pain so I can’t crane my neck to look down at a book. Additionally, I’m most comfortable on the couch or my recliner (so book holders that sit on a table or desk are not the best fit for me). This tool is PERFECT. I use it every day now! It works with small books, large heavy hardcover books, you name it!You can adjust it to so many angles that it works if I’m reclined, or sitting straight up. The cushion part on my lap is comfortable and doesn’t budge, the little metal peices hold even my biggest books in place. It’s not too big or too small- and if you lay it flat (along with the little shelf that holds the book) you can use a laptop on it as well.The quality is really great- nice and sturdy, looks and feels nice. Only regret is not purchasing this sooner!
