I want to start with the idea of this is super cute. However, execution is difficult !!! This is definitely not for beginners. The pieces are very delicate and break easily. The glue that comes with it does not work, I ended up using hot glue. The pieces do not snap together like instructed and easily come apart if not glued. However, you have to wait for glue to dry, etc. this ended up taking a cumulative 6.5 hours! I was hoping 2-3 max. It ended up looking cute but not as I would have hoped for, this will be my last one.

This was really fun to build! Not something for kids as it takes a ton of attention to detail and tiny handwork. The instructions are vague and you really have to pay attention, but the quality is good. This set has thick pieces pre printed with the images and tons of details. No cutting out paper pieces to glue on!!

I should have listened to the reviews. Quality of the "wood" is horrible, it's very flimsy more cardboardish than wood like and pieces easily break if you aren't using the most delicate of care. The so called "tool" fell apart after 2 uses. I had to use a sharp knife to get some of the pieces out without breaking them. Instructions are horrible for some parts. One of my lights didn't work and once put together the touch pad wasn't working. If you have tacky glue, use that instead of the glue provided for the material items and lots of the other parts. Be prepared to hold pieces while they dry.

Check all the pieces before assembling!Had a lot of fun assembling, very fiddly but entertaining. Very disappointed that the LED circuit board was broken, didn’t notice until it was finished and went to install the circuit board. Annoyingly can’t contact seller to see if circuit board can be replaced

This was such a fun activity. Assembly was fairly simple, but some instructions were lacking at times so I went with what I thought to do. Either way, it was not very complicated and it comes out as pictured! Also, one piece was easily broken that would affect the lighting.. but I emailed the company about it through Amazon and they immediately sent me a new one, without issue. I would definitely buy another from this company.

I bought this for myself. I make miniatures, so it looked like fun. So far it has only been frustrating. The directions are hard to figure out, because they don't describe them very well. This would not be suitable for a teenager to put together. There is a little light that needs to be put together. I'm pretty good with making things, but the diagram does not explain it clearly, so I may have to skip that. I'm about 1/4 into it, but it's not fun, it's frustrating. Hope it gets better! The directions are getting less and less helpful. I've gotten farther into it, and The directions are awful. I'm just doing it my way and toss the directions. The small paper pieces are just impossible to deal with. And pieces don't fit where they should. I'm done with this. Don't recommend it.
