  • Application: The viscometer is used for testing the apparent viscosity of non-Newtonian fluid and the absolute viscosity of the Newtonian fluid. It's compatible for solvent based adhesive, paints, inks (screen printing), oils, milkshake, honey, cosmetics, etc.(sample temperature under 100℃/212℉）
  • LCD Display: Display in spindle, speed, temperature(℃), mPas and % torque. Clear and accurate reading.(% torque should be controlled in 15%-85% and around 50% is most suitable)
  • 4 Rotors&4 Speed-It is very convenient for users to choose the rotor and rotor velocity correctly for testing liquid, because of the % function displaying the proportion of the measured value in the total range.
  • Sliding Design: The viscometer can slide up and down by adjusting the hand shank to adjust to solution container of different height.
  • Data Output: The viscometer can connected to a PC, an unlimited amount of data can be stored. Equipped with a RS232 to USB cable to connect to a computer for data output.(The software is stored in a USB drive inside the package)

  • Yes, and the NDJ-8S Viscometer is recommended for measuring highly viscous liquids such as honey, hazelnut cream.

  • If you know the approximate viscosity of the liquid, you can choose the appropriate rotor and speed according to the parameter table.

    If not, you can first select any rotor and speed, then press the SCAN button to help you find the right one.

  • Yes, our viscometers all have data output function, and the software is stored on a USB drive. You can connect the computer through RS232 for data output.

UPDATED review (Dec 2023):The instrument works as advertised. Buyers to make sure to add ROTOR 0 to your list of rotors to measure viscosity of liquids lower than 10 centipoise.Previous review (Nov 2023):Dont buy. Does not work. Cannot measure viscosity of water.

Scan function is very nice for unknown liquids. Protective case. Installed a #0, added distilled water, grabbed the temp, ran. Looked up water for the temp.Sample:1.3mPa*STable lookup: 1.296mPa*SCan't ask for better than that. Tolerance is 3%
