So I bought this after going through 2 NB Immersion blenders. Both NB immersion blenders didn't even make it a year each with once daily light use on thin milk kefir fruit smoothies. This was under $25 bucks and didn't come with any unnecessary attachments. It felt light and cheaply made out of the box so I wasn't expecting much. The top button is speed adjustable by adjusting the speed dial at the top. The lower button is the turbo button which is constant max speed. This thing is very powerful even on the lowest speed setting. The turbo is actually too powerful for thinner liquids and can cause unintended splashing/spills. But overall it has torn through everything so far with ease and emulsifies everything until its silky smooth. Other than being a little noisy which is expected considering the power, this was a fantastic deal. I also understand now that the light weight of the unit is actually a benefit considering how powerful it is. The lighter weight will make it easier to hold and handle for longer periods of time without causing unnecessary fatigue or discomfort. It also has stayed surprisingly cool compared to my old NB immersion blenders which is also surprising consider the power of the motor. I don't know how long this blender will last but so far it has turned out to be a fantastic purchase. If you need a basic cheap daily workhorse immersion blender without unnecessary attachments do yourself a favor and give this shot. I would buy another to keep as a backup and or to give as gifts. Good purchase will definitely consider Bonsenkitchen brand again in the future.

Ce mixeur plongeant est très puissant, je m'en sers très régulièrement pour préparer des soupes, il est d'une efficacité redoutable, je fais grâce à cet appareil des soupes très onctueuses, de véritables veloutés, je peux faire la comparaison avec mon précédent mixeur qui était aussi puissant mais qui fonctionnait beaucoup moins bien pour plus cher.Reste à savoir si il va durer longtemps, en tout cas il est de très bonne facture et il a l'air très costaud. Je suis pour le moment ravi de mon achat et je recommande cet article.

Easy to use. Easy to install the attachments. Easy to clean. A quality product that can be used for everyday tasks. I use it a lot for beating eggs and blending puddings and sauces and whipping cream. I've thought about purchasing a hand blender for some time now. So glad I chose this one!

I have not used an immersion blender in my kitchen but it seemed like a great alternative to puréeing soups. Little did I know how many uses for this I would find from chopping garlic and nuts to whipping a single egg white.This is a great device at a great price.

Having owned and operated restaurants, I got spoiled with some of the 'overbuilt' equipment both powerful and worked for years. This the home version. I could tell by the weight that it is a solid item. The torque when you fire it up is great. So far. a bechamel based cheese sauce for scalloped potatoes, and a homemade dressing, have been the initial uses. It performed well on both. The cheese sauce was in a pan, first the roux, then the sauce base before cheese. Quickly and cleanly. The dressing was in the 'chopper bowl'. emulsified quickly and easily.The attachments seem to be well built, connect easily and work well so far. The unit is also easy to clean. For a device that will be used sporadically, a few times a month, this one delivered good value, and a good working experience.
