this review is for the manufacturer (or distributor, whomever would like to address the issue described).i suspect that the reason this gets returned is that the beautiful lid does not fit snugly on the top without the metal ring insert that holds up the tea strainer portion.if one is not using the tea strainer, the inclination is to remove that ring that supports it, but that ring also is what the silicone flange on the lid fixes into in order to secure the lid.my suggestion would be to include another silicone flange around the top of the rim similar to the rubber around a mason jar lid, to cushion the lid into place. i did this somewhat manually by taking the existing ring and moving it upwards. it still does not fit securely but at least it gives the wood something to rest against so it doesn't rattle around without the metal diffuser support.if you amended this, more people might keep the item. it seems very well made. but not everyone wants to use the tea diffuser portion.

The metal flange may seem like it is loose, but you can push the tabs out further. It will then be seated well, and the wooden lid will stay on. It does drip. This is beautiful.

This pot is not only aesthetically pretty but it also holds tea well. It has a mesh basket infuser for coffee and tea. It’s easy to wash and dry. The wooden lid is a nice touch, however, I wish it’s a tight seal. just a heads up, it does not lock in place.

Despite this being a "coffee" pot I actually use it for tea. Shape is a bit odd but overall it's pleasant and nice. You can put tea in that little metal mesh and everything brews just fine. Lid is a bit awkward due to the shape, you have to really grip it to open.

I ordered this to use as a small farmhouse style carafe for my espresso machine and it’s perfect. Fits an espresso 18oz brew which was why I initially got it and the height fits under the machine. I have also used for my own regular coffee grounds to make coffee and it worked very well. Kept the coffee nice and hot all through family breakfast and is easy to clean. Looks nice overall and has a good weight to it. Definitely recommend

This has a nice simple, contemporary Scandinavian design. It holds 34 ozs. The pot without the lid is actually 6 3/4 inches tall and wider at the bottom. It doesn't feel cheap and has a nice weight to it. The infuser basket is long and almost reaches the bottom of the pot. It's Perfect for steeping loose leaf tea or making infused coffee.

The ceramic coffee pot has been a great addition to my kitchen. It's not a vacuum sealed pitcher, but it does a pretty good job of retaining the temperature of my drinks. Plus, it looks really elegant and classy.I've used the metal basket inside for brewing tea during the day and even cold brew overnight, and it works great for both. I love the wooden lid, which matches the style of my kitchen perfectly. Originally, I bought it to make cold brew to be left overnight at my office, but it looks so good that I decided to keep it for my home instead. 😛The ceramic is of high quality, and the overall aesthetic is very pleasing. I lucked out and got it for around $20 during a sale, but it definitely feels more expensive than that. If you're looking for a stylish and functional coffee/tea pot, I highly recommend it.

The ceramic is attractive and the coffee is hot and perfect. No coffee grounds seeped out. I do hold the top when I pour just to be cautious! Nice product!
