Worked great the one time I used it as a backup mixer for a gig. Pulled it out last week just to test it before an upcoming show and it’s dead. No power at all.Update: Gave an extra star. They contacted me about a refund. That was nice.

Given the price level this is a great piece of kit. I have been using mine for 6 months.It's connectivity is good. You can use Bluetooth or wired connections for input or output. There are many options. It can be powered from a lap top or from a USB mains adaptor.The construction is OK, the pots smooth to operate. I use mine with two microphones wired, a laptop wired linked to an Alto Bluetooth speaker. It works fine.Supplied in a cardboard box with hard foam padding, the only thing the mixer needs is a deacent case.

I bought this mixer in order to have a light weight mixer to bring with me for my dance classes. It proved to be a great purchase. IT sounds great and the Bluetooth feature is so cool to have directly in the mixer! Recommended.

Our son has always been sound intensive. He will bore even the most dedicated auodiophile with his analysis of every sound and mixing job around him as he has a very sensitive ear and ability to immerse himself into sound.I got this for him as he wanted to do his own recordings for basic mixing and a podcast he was working on.PERFORMANCEGetting him to explain his experiences with this in terms I can pass on to you is a bit challenging. I will try my best. In short, his summary is that this records well with his PC including his older one. He said it does do stereo which he was glad for as some units don't. The recording was adequate for messing around but if you want a professional sounding broadcast, well you will have to really work with this. Remember, this is HIS perspective.MICROPHONEMy son preferred to use his own mic as he got better results with it. He has sound muffling and said that it worked best with his own microphone instead of the one provided.CONTROLSSome of the controls he said were a waste of time and sounded silly, but some were adequate and if used well can pull off some good effects.OVERALL QUALITYAfter giving this a long time of thought his response for this is that it is a decent set up for someone beginning or someone who really does not mind playing around with settings and experimenting. If you are wanting to get into podcasts or make simple mixed recordings this is a decent set up.If you are planning to make professional sounding productions or podcasts he said you might be disappointed with this. This is my audiophile son here- take that in consideration when you read this review.MY OWN THOUGHTSAfter hearing the few things he has let me hear since working with this, I can say that I thought it did a pretty decent job. It was not bad at all and for the simple production work, it worked nicely. By the time my son took me on a tour of the software he was experimenting with and the outcome and abilities, I kind of glazed over and went into overload.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice intro set to someone wanting to make podcasts or do simple mixing with instruments at home. If you are really ambitious and have a lot of time, I know you can make this work well for you.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. This rating from my son is a good one. The way he was carrying on about it, I thought perhaps it would not even get one star, but to get four is a big deal with him. So, if you are on the fence about this one, I think it is worth a try.

I have to say this is a pretty good audio mixer for the pricepoint. Feels pretty well made. I brought this for my podcast to adjust the sound effect and balance the input volume between the PC and cellphone. This thing got the job done. Connecting the PC using the USB port is convenient and easy to use and even works well with my older model MacBook Pro. The only thing is you need to make sure the USB is plugged in before switching to the "PC" mode. As for the sound quality, it is pretty decent. I'm using a 48V condenser microphone. In general, there is very little noise, and the stereo output is excellent. Of course, there are many more features that someone with more audio setup and design experience might know how to play with. But I would say as a newbie, this is an excellent entry-level to mid-level entry mixer for multi-party podcasters.Ni
