Really great scales. Well made. Easy to use. The rechargeable white option wasn't available but at least these are AAA batteries and not digital. Highly recommended 👌

Lieferung war sehr zügig. Die Waage macht einen stabilen und gut verarbeiteten eindruck. Sie tut was sie soll, nämlich wiegen. und das wirklich schon bei Kleinstmengen. Tip Top

Both this Bomata and the Tada kitchen scales are great! I really like that they have lithium rechargeable batteries that takes a small USB-C connector. The battery in this Bomata scale is rated 400 mAH while the one in the Tada is 200 mAH. Both scales power on quickly, tare quickly, and give the same weight for the same object being weighed. Besides the battery capacity, the Bomata scale is a bit more customizable: you can set the auto-off time to 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 minutes while the Tada scale is preset to turn off at 10 minutes after last use. Another difference is that the Bomata scale backlight dims after 15 seconds, but returns to full brightness when used; the Tada backlight remains on for the duration of use. Another difference is the size of the digits in the displays with the Bomata being slightly smaller. I really like both scales and both are very similar in price. They both weigh to 0.1 g with a maximum of 5 kg. The Bomata is slightly larger than the Tada and both have elevated platforms which allow you to see the display when a larger object is on the weighing platform unlike scales where the display is part of the weighing platform. I find it difficult to recommend one over the other which I suppose is why I purchased both! No more hassles in the kitchen when both my wife and I are prepping at the same time! You can't go wrong with either of these fine scales and they are at a great price point for their functionality!

Spectacular product that hits above it's price range. Nice that you can set the auto off time and even disable the beep (press and hold 'Mode' the first setting is the auto off time in minutes, press 'zero' and this second setting is the beep on/off setting.)Love that it is water resistant (don't submerge as the AAA battery contacts will corrode) and it can measure smaller weights than similarly priced scales (most .1 accuracy scales I've used have a minimum weight of a little over 1 or 2 grams, but this can read close to half a gram and above.)I had to buy a new scale because my prior scale would not display weights fast enough causing over pouring of measurements. This scale does not have that issue. What I would improve:- Increase the read and display speeds even more- Make it more obvious how to disable the beep- Use a standard USB Micro or USB C charging cable instead of the barrel cable (even if that means excluding the cable)- Sacrifice the AAA option to reduce corrosion risk when rinsing. This feature really isn't necessary for most people and it reduces the water resistance. I would maximize water resistance, even if it means sacrificing the AAA batteries (the speaker could be relocated under the screen/buttons so that it doesn't need vent holes, although it will sound muffled)- The screen is okay, I'd prefer a backlit black on white over the high contrast white on purple, but its not really that big of a deal. The screen's refresh rate is a limiting factor in making this scale better.

I work in a food prep room and needed a waterproof, durable and accurate scale. So far, this unit has more than filled the bill. I chose it because it's supposedly very waterproof and so far, it's exceeded my performance expectations. It sets up and tares faster than the $300 ones provided by the company and it weighs 1/4 as much. It's rechargeable AND accepts AAA batteries. The readout is bright and dims for power conservation. IF it's as waterproof as they claim, I'll be very happy with this purchase. Time will tell but after a month's usage, I would recommend it highly, especially if you work in a wet environment.Update: After several months of daily use, it's proven to be waterproof. I rinse it off and dry it but, per their warning, have never submersed it and it works fine. It occasionally gets "stuck" and after a couple of taps, resumes faithful operation. I think this issue is due to the scale pan getting "stuck" because a light tap or two gets it back to normal. Great product which outperforms the expensive and less reliable Ohaus commercial models we have here.1 year update: I've used this scale 5 days a week for a 14 months now and it's still as described above.Once every few days, it gets "stuck" as above but a light tap remedies the situation. Do be sure to remove the AAA batteries and dry the compartment if the scale gets wet or else corrosion will form. Absolutely no problem with the display or electronics in spite of daily rinse-offs. The literature states that this scale is not designed for commercial use but between you and me, it's done a yeoman's job at my work place and I know it's more accurate and reliable than the Ohaus scales we're provided. Great product - very pleased and will buy another one if and when this one croaks.Update. My first scale eventually "died" after 18 months of daily use because the battery compartment isn't waterproof and corrosion eventually occurred. I ordered another one just like it and sealed up the battery compartment door with Gorilla tape and will just use the rechargeable batteries it contains. After 4 months, this one works just as well as the other and the rechargeable batteries stay charged for what seems like months! I was recently transferred into a refrigerated workroom and after several hours, the scale started "freezing" but since I began placing it on a piece of cardboard (instead of the stainless steel countertop), it's worked flawlessly. Great product outperforming the "professional" models which cost 10x as much.
