Compounding on the overwhelming success of the original DeathGrip tripods, BOG took on the unenviable task of making the world’s best tripod better. As you’d expect from BOG, we went out and did it. The DeathGrip Infinite series is designed as a multi-functional tripod platform, utilizing a quick-change system on top of a glass-smooth ball head mount, making it perfect for glassing and shooting. Couple this with a proprietary hybrid foot, twist-lock legs, the proprietary DeathGrip clamping system and a weight that is comparable to tripods up to 4 times its price and you have the best tripod ever made (again).

Purchased this for a past hunting trip, i wanted something that was functional and easy to pack and set up as well as take down. It sets up easy and the spike feature on the feet helped with stability in the dirt. The carry case is a nice feature and well made.

This thing is BAD A$$!!! Super Sturdy. Sighted out from 300 yards and this hefty sucker held steady. Very durable but somehow light weight.

I recently took the BOG DeathGrip Infinite Carbon Fiber Tripod on a mountain hunt in Colorado, and it exceeded all expectations. The heavy-duty construction is incredibly sturdy yet lightweight, making it easy to carry during long treks. The 360-degree ball head is smooth and versatile, allowing me to quickly adjust for the perfect shot. What really sets this tripod apart is its multi-functionality—I used it both as a rock-solid shooting platform and for mounting my spotting scope. It held steady in windy conditions on uneven terrain, giving me confidence whether I was glassing or taking aim. This tripod is an absolute must-have for any serious hunter or outdoor enthusiast. It’s durable, reliable, and incredibly versatile. Worth every penny!

I really like the versatility that this provides. Between the saddle clamp and the arca adapter you can get a solid hold on just about anything. The only thing that would make an improvement is if the ball head was larger to allow higher clamping force. Even when tightened a lot you can muscle the rifle and move it. Which can honestly be a good thing for that last little adjustment. Just nitpicking, you have to mean it to move it. I’m used to photography tripods that once locked plain don’t move. But they weight 4 times the Bog and are much more expensive.

My Husband ordered this for my LWRC AR-15. I have a Pulsar Thermion scope mounted to it. So my gun does not fall in the lightweight category. This tripod is extremely study and stable.Let’s talk about the cons1. BOG needs to design these with a sling!! So picture this. I have a backpack on with my gun strapped on it. I am walking up and down hills and through fields. I prefer to have at least one arm/hand free. Yes I know it comes with a bag. It’s a nice bag to! Except I don’t want to have to push my legs in all the way to place in the bag. The bag is great when you are wanting to store the tripod. A sling would be fantastic when you are walking and setting up in 3-5 different locations when coyote hunting.2. The legs are really stiff. I wanted to walk 50 yards further then where I was set up at the time. So I didn’t bother grabbing my pack or sling. I just carried my gun and tripod to where I was wanting to set up. So I get there and I had to fight with the legs one handed to try and get the legs spread. Don’t forget I am trying to be quiet!! Finally I clamped my gun on the tripod and then wrestled the legs.3. The knobs are to close together and the are frankly a$$ backwards! To “unlock” the ball head knob is on the bottom. That’s fine but the plate knob is almost right above it. BIG problem BOG if you aren’t careful and grab the wrong knob your gun or whatever equipment is on there will slide off! That’s a $7000 dollar screw up I don’t want to happen! Also the knobs are to close together and you have kind of reach behind a knob to unlock the ball head . Now I am left handed so it might not be a big deal with righty’s. I wish the U clamp knob and the ball head knob was on the same side.4. I wish the ball head was a little less stiff. Yes I loosened it up all the way. I found that after your scanning for hours my wrist started aching.Other then that I really like this tripod. The hook in the middle is Also heavy duty. I find it very handy to hang my pack or the game call remote on it! It’s not really a heavy tripod. We did rig me a sling for it. My husband loosened something on the legs to make it slightly easier to manage one handed. It’s also easy to scan with this tripod. I originally had a BOG adrenaline switcheroo. We added a ball head to it. I like both. Except the adrenalines legs are not as durable (thickness) as the infinite. Here is another pro my old tripod had a leg that bent. One call to Bog and there was no problem replacing it, but they did not send me a leg. They replaced the entire tripod. So I can vouch that the customer service is top notch. Between the 2 tripods I am going to use the infinite . I will probably change the ball head out only because of the knob placement.
