Have a horse that has trouble at times keeping wight on. Tried this supplement and it seems to work. Less issues with horse's diet and she's in better health.

I have used this on my OTTB. He has been gaining weight. I have added this to his feed and increased his exercise. I think this is a good addition to an already laid out plan. Overall it has helped.

This supplement is palatable and the horses eat it well. To me it has a licorice scent that they don't seem to mind. The texture is nice and it sticks to pelletized feed well so they don't waste it. I am feeding it to young horses to prepare for a show and they are both eating it well. The ingredients are just what I was looking for to support them in their increased work load.

I have a horse with a multitude of health problems that I struggle to keep weight on. He also has very little muscle as he has never fully recovered from a major surgery 2 years ago and he is about 30 years old. I have added quality oils to his feed to add more fat to his diet plus I feed a very dense nutritional senior feed and a large amount of mash as he doesn't have much for teeth either! I always thought this type of weight gain supplement was expensive but a 11 lb bag lasts 2 months. He has been eating it for 2 weeks and I think I'm seeing results already. I might only need to feed this for 2 months each spring or maybe an additional 2 months in the winter so he doesn't lose weight.Short story - I think I'm seeing some weight gain in 2 weeks. In my opinion, this is a good addition to a nutritionally dense diet for a struggling horse. I am normally quite pessimistic about supplements as have spent a ton of money on them and most don't help. I'm optimistic this will help!

Not a bad additive - my horses likes it, and I think it smells really nice. I have a mare with heaves and unfortunately over winter she drops weight rapidly and then spring with her episodes she struggles to gain it. I haven't noticed a change yet, but she eats it just fine and it's only been a few weeks which we know takes time to put weight back on. I also think she is a little depressed from losing her best friend a few months ago. She eagerly munches this down tho! At the end of the bag I will update with how her weight gain has been.

I just got this in about a week ago, so I can't attest currently to how well it will work in the long run. However, I am excited for it. I have a horse that falls off in the winter sometimes, so I am hoping this will help keep her weight well. Additionally, I am looking to build her muscle tone, which is the main promise that this bag of supplements offer. It is easy to use and just mix with her normal grain. Also, this bag is heavy! The bag that it is packaged in is very difficult to break into. This is perfect for farm life. Overall, I am currently very pleased with this product.
