Winch Mounting
1. Select a suitable location on your trailer to mount the winch.
2. Place the hand crank winch on the trailer mount stand. On the mounting plate, a number of screw holes were set aside to ensure a more secure installation.
3. A minimum of three 3 ⁄ 8" or M10 bolts, washers, and lock washers should be used to secure the unit (accessories included).
4. Insert the winch handle and secure with a lock nut (use wrench).
5. Please make sure the bow eye on the boat and the cable hook on the winch are both at the same height. (It will need extra pull if the bow eye is too high)
Note: Please wrap the winch strap tighter when put it on as it compressed itself when cranking.

Very unsatisfied with purchase it was a waste of my money I will need to purchase another winch to replace this one after only 6 months and of course Im no longer able to return or replace. Weight of the boat forced the winch to unwind and broke the mechanism. Thankful for my safety chain or I could have lost my boat

Looks great works great has a lot of pull strength . Only negative comment I have is the blue rope has faded color from the sun within about 3 months of use

Replaced my old worn out one - the ratchet teeth were worn and wouldn't hold tight - quite dangerous. This one is very nice. An easy installation with included bolts. Now I have peace of mind.

I have a small trailer with ramps that I use to transport a railroad speeder. The trailer is about 12" off the ground and this winch is used to pull the car up the ramps onto the trailer and to roll the car off of the trailer. I have used it 3 times so far and seems to work as this type of winch should work. I don't see any signs of wear but after I use it a 100 times or more, I will have a better review of its longevity. I am satisfied thus far.
