I got this for our 3 person tube and it is bight and visible. It ways it is UV resistant, but I would stil store it indoors and out of the sun after it dries as polyethylene isn't that resistant to UV damage which will degrade the rope's strength over time. The price is very reasonable, especially if it lasts at least 3 seasons of use.

Tow rope is working well for us. Have had no issues with it at all. It pulls our 3 person large inflatable with no issues.

I needed a new tow rope for the inflatable tube and this was priced nicely. It's bright yellow so that will help see it in the water and it having loops on both ends is pretty standard. Feels like it will last several seasons and it's sturdy. I did see some reviews talking about it being a 3k strength and wanted to point out there are usually 2 different load levels; one is for working weight (what the rope will be able to do safely in use) and a breaking weight (the max before it is rated to fail). Never think of the breaking weight, you always want to make sure that the working weight is able to handled the job safely. Not to mention that working weight is usually about 1/3 of the breaking weight. If you want to research more there are plenty of sites on the internet. If you read about cargo straps for trucks the premise is pretty much the same.

I got this boat tow rope to tow any of the towables I have with our boat. This is claimed to be a 3K tow rope, or a rope for towing up to 3 passengers in a towable. I have some 4K tow ropes, rated for up to 4 riders, which we do routinely use with 3 or 4 riders. This 3K rope is half the diameter of the 4K rope. Unless the polyethylene of this rope is somehow superior to that of my other ropes, I don’t know how it could have a rating higher than 2K, or two passengers.The price at the time of this review is $21 which is a decent price for a floating tow rope. I just have to reduce a star due to the rating question.
