This pair of strap hinges seems obviously marine grade and great for that application. I, however, am using them on a woodworking project, specifically a custom wood box holding an antique surveyor's transit. The high polished finish will add much to the finished piece. Exceptionally well made.

Very well made hinges. Tolerances are good enough for hatch covers and 316 stainless steel has great corrosion resistant properties so I expect these will last on a long time on my freshwater boat. The screws are ok but a little short for my application so I replaced them with longer screws.
