I bought this for connecting HAM gear to the Power Supplies. This wire is 12 AWG so it's large enough to provide enough current for my needs. The silicone jacket is flexible and the multi strand conductor allows the wire to bend as needed without kinks.

I’m always sceptical of purchasing items like these from Amazon but I received a quality product. Each roll is heavy indicating 100% copper which is also tinned and is a pleasure to solder. It’s very flexible with vibrantly coloured outer jacket. Would definitely purchase again.

I love using this silicone wire with the waterproof heat shrink fittings. The jacket on the wire doesn’t melt as easily being that it is silicone. Flexible enough to fit around all curves and nooks in your vehicle.

good strand count and high quality silicone casing. Could be more flexible in general but still good overall.

Silicone insulation is really high quality. It will always be heavier (but also more malleable) than other wire options. The casing is not likely to split due to being bent the way that stuff plastic insulations will be. This is the best value/quality.

There are certainly higher quality products out there, but this one is a great value if your assembly isn't subject to crazy environmental conditions.

Used this type wire, along with several other gauges and colors I also got on Amazon to wire up my trailer. Ran all through conduits to protect, but I am confident that these will far outlast any of the regular trailer wire harnesses that are offered out there. Most of the standard harnesses use copper clad aluminum wires that corrode and disintegrate, and the insulation gets hard, cracks and starts flaking off, which can cause shorts, especially in humid or salt air environments. These wires are silicone insulated, so impervious to oil, gas, heat or cold and are very flexible. The core wire is multi-strand copper that is tinned, so is also very flexible, easily soldered and very durable. I could not be happier with the results! The only caution I can give is wires should be protected, from road damage and also mice tend to like chewing on silicone. Otherwise, great stuff, worth the money and highly recommended!

I started out using this wire for a couple of projects subject to wide temperature variations, but it makes life so much easier I use it for everything now. The huge difference between using this wire versus less expensive PVC jacketed wire is that you spend zero time wrestling the wire into the proper shape, narrow pathways, or other tight spots. PVC jacketed wire is just too stiff, especially at larger gauges. When it's cold, it's even worse. This stuff never gets as stiff, even when it is cold. Plus, the high-temperature resistance brings peace of mind that the insulation won't melt if/when something in a device goes very wrong. The wires stay protected and pliable under crazy temperature extremes. Yeah, it costs more, but how much is your time worth? How much is it worth to avoid the frustration of routing wire which won't bend. How much is it worth to have the peace of mind of knowing that your insulation is unlikely to melt away, exposing dangerous current levels to possible short circuits? It is really difficult to go back to using the cheap PVC stuff once you've used this a few times. Think of it as one more way to reduce stress and worries in your life. Highly recommended.

I'm reworking all the interior and exterior electrical wiring, relay's, connections (body grounds as well) on my 1994 GMC K-2500, the original wire did a good service for the 25 years it has been used. I'm disabled and refuse to pay $50,000 for a new truck (it wouldn't run as well as my 1994 anyway) I was hesitant about this brand or wire, but I thought (I'm not supposed to do that) I would give them a chance thanks to the reviews. I was Extremely Pleased at the High Quality of this "Real Copper" wire, not aluminum w/ coated- COPPER !, tinned very well, the silicone insulation is real industrial grade silicone. I run all my wire inside of braided nylon sheathing and securely fasten it every 24", using adhesive lined shrink tubing over all connections- works very well with this wire, it is easy to form for tight turns, lays straight once laid out, soders excellently (the top notch tinning helps there), I now have several hundred feet of 18, 16, 14 and 12 gauge of this VERY High Quality wire (It will be used on my solar system as well now) Thanks again Amazon for another "Top Quality, First Class" product that I can have delivered to my door, 90 miles from town, AND Thanks to everyone who takes the time to review the items we all could benefit from knowing better what the strong and weak points are
