This bumper is well built and seems strong. It fits OK but the brackets are slightly too far apart. I got the brackets to sit almost flush with the frame by bending them while tightening the bolts down. It's difficult to get a wrench on the inside of the upper bolts, but I imagine you would have the same issue with the John Deere OEM bumper.Overall this is good insurance to prevent cracking your hood by running into something.

This was a perfect fit for my John Deere X324 . It took 5 minutes to install. You will need two 15/16 wrenches and two 1/2 inch wrenches.

I wanted this product but wasn't prepared to pay the UK going rate for a John Deere part at £149.00.Found this on Amazon Global, read the reviews, double checked on the import duty regs (which there aren't any additional charges) and found it even came with free shipping from the USA.I placed the order accepting a longish lead time.The order was processed immediately and the goods were dispatched following it across it's USA journey. The item arrived yesterday, appx 8 days before the due date. It took just over a week from ordering it to reach me. It is superbly manufactured, fits like a glove to my JD X350R - couldn't ask for any more. The fit & finish on this bumper is excellent, but not a direct connect on my X380 the smaller nut on the lower left bolt is blocked by a heat shield on my 2023 X380. I was able to bend the corner of the sheet metal down and install the smaller, lower bolt, not a big issue and worth the savings. A tip: I loosely installed the two large top bolts, (22mm wrench) and the two bottom bolts, (12mm wrench). Then progressively, tighten each bolt until they line all up and to make to bumper level. Also, pitch the instructions, no help. Just line-up the bumper with the mounting holes, all good. The bumper is very sturdy and will withstand an impact, saving the grille and hood from damage. I am pleased with the purchase.

So I ordered this generic bumper for my John Deere X500. The bumper looks identical to the authentic John Deere bumper I have on my other X300 tractor. So as for looks, both bumpers look the same.So I install this generic bumper on my X500 and it went on without a problem. The larger bolts are a pain to tighten but they are a pain to tighten even on the authentic JD bumper as well. While installing this generic bumper, it actually went on easier than the authentic JD bumper! It seems the holes had better alignment on this generic bumper compared to the authentic JD bumper. Both bumpers have a pair of large bolts that are a pain in the butt to tighten but the generic bumper seemed to line up on the frame better than the JD bumper.Conclusion...... This generic bumper is a good buy. There's no reason to pay an extra fifty bucks for the JD name brand bumper. The fit and finish on this generic bumper is just as good if not better than the authentic JD bumper. Save yourself some money and buy this one for your X300 or X500 series tractor.

Fits my John Deere X350 nicely. Does a great job of protecting the front from mishaps. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and fitment at such a great price.
