The solar panel work only during the day, never, in my case , worked on night hours , I asked for a replacement, I got one , still doesn't work. I wished never have to spend my money on this fountain. Waste of money

They do not provide a back to seal it off from creatures etc. Also, the finish looks nothing like the advertised picture.

I have had this solar fountain for about a month and it works perfectly. I read the other reviews with high hopes that mine would not quit after a short while. It is really beautiful and requires almost no maintenance. I refill maybe once a week and put the panel where it receives the most direct sunlight. I placed it in the landscaping near our pool and the mini waterfall trickling sound is so soothing. It is a wonderful addition to the atmosphere.

I’m not sure if the one I got is defective, but it does not hold a charge at all. It has to be in very direct sun to work and if a wisp of a cloud comes by it turns off. Otherwise I really like it. Wish it didn’t go on and off so much.

Reasonable quality, attractive, works only on the sun, minimal battery backup, but mine mat be defective so I returned it at a $60 charge for shipping. I won't order from them again. I had it less than a week.

Recently bought it for my rock garden. Item described, as working a few hours after sunset. Nope. Never did, no more than 15 min in a twilight. Even with direct sunlight it works on and off. And I live in Colorado, where we have 300 sunny days a year, and sun is pretty high. Assembly instructions are veeery confusing. It looks pretty though. I'm disappointed, that I have to return it.
