Easy fix for broken vertical blinds, only suggestion would be to have a color selection

original manufacturers make these verticle blinds very weak at the ceiling connector - individual slats break or fail often - this great invention makes the blind connection firm even if the original slat is damaged but I recommend gluing them on for permanent hold

We get these frequently from our maintinance man for repairs. We decided to buy our own supply to have on hand.Where we live the southern sun dries out and cracks the slats. They will literally fall down in the middle of the night!!The 2 repairs did not work amd just slid off. These have thicker tension clips on the backside than what we have been using. After much bending and compressing ( get the pliers)... Well, we will see.Since we bought a box of 50 and we had the foot ladder out, we decided to use them pre emptively to prevent breakage. Waiting to see if it works or not

I have cloth vertical blinds with trapezoid windows above. The original tabs were plastic, and the heat from the sun makes them brittle. I am now replacing all of the tabs with these metal tabs. FYI: They looked very fragile, and I was afraid of breaking them. I now realize that you need a screwdriver and pliers. lift the tab with the screwdriver, and use the pliers to squeeze the tabs into the fabric.

Half of our vertical blinds were broken on the top. These clever little clips saved the whole set of blinds! They clip on very easily. We put them on all of the blinds, even the ones that weren't broken for added protection. They clip into the track very easily too. Just make sure you line them up properly and they're clicked in. They work on ribbed or smooth vertical blinds. And the blinds work perfectly. One of the best items we ever bought on Amazon!

When I first tried it I was disappointed as the blind slat just fell down after a little tug. Since these are made from metal I figured to try using pliers in order to reinforce the grip. Seems to work quite well. Also make sure to move them around so that the hole in the slat snaps into place, otherwise it may appear to be holding but will eventually fall down. Good idea. Good product. But use pliers to squeeze them for added, better grip. I will say compared to duct tape these are much neater and better looking.

We have vertical black-out blinds that are made of a white, heavy, durable, plastic material. They have been hanging for about 3 years. Lately, we have found a number of them are breaking at the connecting point. Which renders them useless and costly to replace. We had thought to turn the blind around and have the rectangular hole re-punched. But this is not aesthetically pleasing. These amazing little clips solved the problem instantly and will increase the lifespan of our blinds for many years. I don't know why manufacturers don't put these clips on when selling the heavy blinds. Awesome product and needs to be in every DIY'rs toolbox.
