These are quality made, heavy duty swivels. I used them to connect my leaders to the main line and also to build connections for different sizes of removable planers. I use both a #2 and #4 planer for trolling, and these can be made removable when reeling in by connecting one end to the planer, and cutting off the free end of the coast lock, creating a bridal for your main line, and “hooking” the planer to the bridal. When reeling in a fish, as the planer gets to the rod tip, you can remove the planer and keep reeling the rest of the bridal and leader without having to hand line the rest of it.

These are very strong swivels that I will be using when I go Surf Fishing. I have not used them yet, but they look very well made.
