Been in need of a new pillow as my current one is as flat as a piece of cardboard. Decided to order this but was a little skeptical with the notice "frequency returned item." Still got it anyways, and honestly i was not disappointed. I like flat pillows, like flllaaaatttt (obviously with the state of my current pillow) because plushy ones are uncomfortable when im on my stomach. This one, man, is perfect. Its definitely got a firmness to it so it definitely will hold its shape but its also super soft and comfortable. It honestly reminds me of a squishy marshmallow, firm enough for it to retain a shape but squishy enough for it to still be enjoyable. Its also a decent size, its not flat like my current one but its true to side thats advertised. It also came with a soft cover for the pillow itself thats machine washable. As for the cooling effects, i cannt speak on that because ontop of the cover, ive added a silk pillow case so i dont notice anything. But i can say i havent flipped it over to get to the "cool side" lol

Seems to be a pretty high quality pillow and is "exactly" what I was looking for as a side/stomach sleeper. I quoted "exactly" because I probably went a bit too thin, mostly because I've gotten tired of every pillow out there not being thin enough. This one works pretty well even though it is a little thinner than I thought since I can bunch it up. But I'll probably end up ordering another one that is a bit thicker, but still nice and thin. So great to finally find a thin, comfortable, and high quality pillow!

Finally, a pills my husband loves. This is the perfect height for his neck. He has slept more soundly and with less neck pain since it arrived.

The pillow is a very thin, soft, floppy, memory foam pillow. None of us can sleep on these pillows.

I bought both the non cooling and the cooling versions. I love both pillows a lot! Though the cooling one has no holes for airflow like the non cooling has, which makes it a bit more firm then the non cooling. The cold one took weeks to normalize and cool down, but now it works very well and is comfy with the added chill. Pillows are firm in the best way, supportive and comfortable for your head and neck after a few seconds of the foam adjusting.

I first discovered Bluewave pillows several years ago because of cervical spine issues I developed. For me, they’ve been nothing short of a blessing! A complete game-changer because of the neck alignment support they provide.A very dear friend of mine has developed issues with his cervical spine, as well. I decided to order two of these pillows for him. Now my friend loves them, too! He’s been sleeping on them for about a week now and is so surprised about how much better he can sleep with these. I'm like a hybrid stomach-side sleeper who sleeps with their arm under their pillow. This pillow is dense enough that it dramatically relieves the pressure on my arm over your standard fluffy pillow, and less dense memory foam pillows. (ex. Blissbury)For that, I highly recommend it, that was my biggest problem when trying to get to sleep.As for the max cooling side - wow - I sleep in a pretty chilly room (~64F) and the pillow dissipates heat very quickly. After a few hours sleeping on it, it certainly loses much of its coolness but it's still cold enough that I don't wake up and grab a different pillow. If I take a few minutes in the bathroom and come back, the pillow is already back to being cold. Pretty impressive.Honestly, the cooling effect is a little too strong if you run your room cool like I do. It can actually feel a little painful for a bit until your head warms it up. I enjoy it though.The Tencel cover that it comes with is absolutely useless, I would just chuck it and put a nice envelope cotton pillow case on. The Tencel is okay, but the hard fabric band that surrounds it is mildly annoying against your neck. I find a percale weave cotton to be much more comfortable in the long term.The foam itself wasn't too bad for smell, I stopped noticing it after a couple days though it was fairly strong on the first night. I skipped the de-odorizing steps, and the scent did not cling to my pillow case. The Tencel cover smelled pretty bad, so I would definitely wash that day 1 if you were to use it, which I don't recommend.

I’m stomach sleeper and like very slim pillows. Tried many of memory ones but still couldn’t find the most perfect for myself as I used to wake up with headache because they were tough enough. I was looking to buy Bluewave Bedding Hyper Slim CarbonBlue Max Cool Gel Memory Foam Pillow for Stomach and Back Sleepers - Thin, Flat Design with Advanced Cooling (2.25-Inch Height, Standard Size) but I thought I could find something cheaper. Unfortunately, all cheaper versions of slim pillows didn’t work for me. Then decided to treat myself with this one. To be honest I am super happy. It’s the slimmest, the most soft and super comfy. Very happy with my purchase. I consider to buy one more as my child likes it too.

The pillow is exactly as described. It's cool to the touch. It showed up with a few drops of water & dried out very quickly .... just as the description notes.It's very comfortable like a memory foam pillow but seems a little softer to me. Though not so soft my head/neck didn't feel supported. I am 5"3", 124lbs & work in the construction industry. Sleep is extremely important to me because I don't get much of it in my line of work. Quality sleep is more important than just closing my eyes & I've had the same pillow for a couple years. I managed to smash it pretty flat but it really looks like it needed a good washing. After ruining my last washing machine washed pillow I was hesitant but it needed to be done, so I took a leap. It was ruined & I knew it as soon as I took it out of the washing machine. I hoped the dryer would fluff it up evenly & I'd just have to sleep on a puffy pillow for a week or 2 until it smashed down but it dried lumpy just like it came out of the washing machine. It was no good. I ordered this pillow based on the thickness I thought I'd prefer & this pillow has so far been about perfect.I might wish it a bit thinner but that might be too thin & I really needed a perfect pillow. This nailed the job. Because of the material, I never have to wash it & now that I've found one I like, I'll continue buying from this brand. Even my husband who seemed to love his Memory Foam pillow that came as a gift with our Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme bed thinks he too will be switching to a thinner pillow. He's 6'3", 210 & feels his current, standard size pillow is too lofty.I was in a car accident 4 years ago & prior to that slept soundly on a latex pillow that breathed very well & had hols in it like this to keep the user cool. I loved that pillow but after the accident couldn't sleep on it anymore & have been on the hunt for a thinner pillow with similar support. I finally found my new perfect pillow. I bought this pillow in Super Slim max cool standard size. It is slightly smaller all around than my previous pillow but my previous pillow was too but for me anyway so why would I expect the new, better one to be the same size & better any better? A smaller pillow overall, for me, was the ticket. The Super Slim may be my next pillow but so far, this one has helped me get a better sleep & my neck doesn't hurt anymore.I use a pillow cover then put my pillow case on but this pillow comes with a cover. Even still, I've left it on & use my own over that so my laundry consists of 3 pillow cases off my single pillow. I feel like it keeps the pillow clean though I shower daily. I think it just makes me feel better.The seller is spot on about everything in the description. In my opinion, I didn't feel there was a "chemical" smell with the new pillow. I think what people smell is "new". It's like when you buy a new hoodie. It has that new clothing smell & pillows are no different. We just aren't typically used to the scent of new memory foam. I really didn't smell anything I couldn't sleep on the same night I received the pillow. I left it uncovered for the day to dry out. Not that was soaked. Just a few drops on the case as mentioned in the description, & it was completely dry by the time I got home late afternoon. I put the original case it came with back on, my own pillow cover & my pillow case. It's a perfect-for-me pillow. I'd definitely order another pillow from this seller. They were transparent & the product arrived quickly & exactly as described.
