Getting Started
Battery Installation
Battery is included. Remove the sensor from the sack, open the sensor with a screwdriver, add battery, close the sensor and put it back in the sack.
Turn on the sack
There is not an on/off switch. Turn the smart sack on by tossing it a foot or more in the air. The app will connect and start counting.
Play
The smart sack sends kick data to the app and the app announces your score. If the smart sack is still for too long, then the score resets to 0.
Stopping play
The smart sack automatically goes to sleep if no kicks are detected for a while. No need to do anything to turn it off.

- Synthetic Suede
- Filler: 1 mm plastic beads (no sand, it tends to leak out). The 1 mm bead size is big enough to not easily leak out but small enough to give a nice smooth feel.
- Fullness: On the full side. It's more of a kicking sack rather than a stalling sack.
- Battery Life: Up to 3 months. The sensor turns itself off when not in use and turns on again when a toss is detected.

When the battery was inserted, the hacky sack was no longer round and the battery made a lump that messed with ability to perform the lifts.

Cute, but was much more difficult to maneuver due to the bumps on the sides. If you want a challenge, go for it.

This is a fun little SMART Hacky Sack that keeps track of how many kicks it gets, the best you did this session, and the best ever. It is easy to set up (install battery) and install app. It then works flawlessly. You can't cheat - it really wants an impact, and it does not seem to miss any counts. The coolest part is the very large number of voices and languages it can count in (from the app). If you are hitting faster than the voice can keep up, it still keeps an accurate count. The sack itself is well made, and the electronics/smart puck inside is well protected and does not change the feel of the sack. Much better than trying to count yourself!

I am always looking for products that will get my teenage son moving. The Smart Sack is a blast from the past but updated for todays youth. I like that it comes with a battery. The sack simply unsnaps and you squish the sensor out. You'll need a small screw driver to access the battery compartment. Simply go to the App Store and search for the free Iguana Smart Sack App. It downloads in minutes and you are ready to go. I tried it out and am going to need to improve my skills Ha! I'll be giving this to my son for Christmas.
