It has great quality, but border lighting washes out the symbols on all other buttons in the dark/night. The bass enhancement is minimal. My previous FM transmitter was quite outdated but it had the same function & is noticeably more intense.

I ordered this for my son who had a similar one in his old car which got towed away after an accident with the transmitter inside and was never seen again.It was easy to set up and it works well. He loves it because it allows him to stream music from Pandora, Spotify and his phone to the car speakers with the touch of a button. Great device for those without satellite radio or bluetooth!

With all of the portable devices available now days, being able to connect them to vehicle sound systems provides additional opportunities to use such devices. This one doubles as a USB charger. So, it was ordered.The package arrived on schedule in 2 days and the adapter was undamaged.After plugging it in to an auto lighter socket, it powered on and seemed to perform as expected. Not too excited about the red/blue perimeter lights, though. If it fails to perform as expected during use with other devices, I will report same here.

Transmitter does work. Trying to set the frequency was VERY finicky. Followed instructions and what should be simple took 15 min of mucking about. At least it does keep the setting in memory after power cycle. Call buttons doubles as a Vol rocker (along with setting station in setup) which is a rather redundant feature. You'll already have to max out the Vol on your phone while using it, then you'll have main Vol control on the radio itself. Now add in a third control is a nuisance, not a feature. It does default to the max so just never touch it.Haven't tested with calls yet but not expecting much from the internal microphone. Hands-free functions on a budget device is a near certain impracticality. Sound quality over FM is just OK. Some very faint static but mostly the crispness of the audio is lacking. RGB LED ring can be turned off. LED can also be steady on or pulse (fade). Buttons are not backlit. Can also display the Batt voltage which is somewhat useful.Spring for + pin is way too stiff. Pushes itself out of the socket making for a poor power connection. Was tempted to try replacing it but would probably end up breaking the plastic shell to do so so not worth the effort. Has an idle power draw of ~30mA. Do not leave plugged in if vehicle does not have switched Acc +12V to the outlet.In short it does what it's supposed to, just not well. Had planned on gifting this to someone else... but I don't hate the person.
