Hand-Dipped Beeswax Tapers
Classic candlesticks dipped into pure molten beeswax at just the right temperature by a steady hand and a keen eye. These candles are dipped and cooled over twenty times each before a pair can be cut free from the rack. Kept out of drafts, these tapers will burn one inch per hour without drips.
Caring for Beeswax Taper Candles
Don't trim the wick
After cutting the wick to 1/4" to separate a pair of tapers, it's no longer necessary to trim the wick. In fact, a taper's long, curled wick is essential in preventing drips.
To prevent drips
Keep tapers away from open windows, fans or excessive airflow of any kind. Place your hand behind flame when blowing out.
To minimize smoke
Use a snuffer to minimize smoke and preserve the taper's delicate burn pool.
Set up strong
Our tapers are a standard 7/8" at the base. Beeswax is very malleable. If your taper is a bit too large for the holder, it can be twisted securely into place. On the other hand, if your holder is a bit large, simply melt the base of the taper over a flame and allow the softened wax to secure it in the holder.

Absolutely perfect for a candle lit dinner. They don't drip and last a long time. They also don't have a yucky smell when you blow them out.

To be fair, the manufacturer doesn't claim these are dipped but, for the price I assumed they were.They are decent candles but, too expensive for molded ones.The difference between molded and dipped is very obvious, btw. The molded ones are not as smooth -- there's a kind of washboard effect that you don't get with dipped candles (due to differential cooling in the mold, maybe?). You can fell it by just rubbing one of the candles across the other.

These are probably the best beeswax candles I have ordered and I've tried a few. Burn time is about 15 hours per taper. Arrived promptly too. Will buy again.

The candles were pretty at the Thanksgiving dining table. They were lit for about 2 hours. Burns clean and no drip.

Great candles!Very nice scent and burn well. I did not notice any drippings(set them up straight and no drafts). They burn +/- 1inch an hour which is more than the candles i bought from another seller previously. Quality candles well worth the price!
