I purchased two of these Air Purifiers in April of last year (currently February, ~10 months later) and am extremely pleased with the results and effectiveness of the product.I live in Brooklyn, NY in a railroad style apartment (one side facing street near-ish a busy road, the other side facing an interior courtyard) and I purchased two 311i Maxs. One is in the the threshold between the kitchen/living area and bedroom area and the other is in the main "bedroom" that faces the street. The threshold between rooms is high traffic, so lots of dust and particulates get swept around when I walked between the rooms of the apartment. Immediately I noticed that the dust accumulation in the living and bedroom area became much more gradual. The purifier itself also traps a TON of dust clumps on the cloth outer filter that needs to be cleaned periodically but I am happy to know that it is certainly doing its job. The bedroom purifier also is doing well, but its a much lower traffic area of the apartment so it doenst need to be cleaned as often.The advertised filter live is 6 months. However, after 10 months the high traffic air purifier's filter is just about at 15% and I purchased a replacement. For context, I run it constantly at its lowest setting and have it automatically adjust to a medium high setting for two hours each evening from 5-7pm (this is usually when I am cooking and honestly, not even sure if this is necessary). I am extremely impressed with the durability of the filters in this capacity.Noise wise, I couldn't be happier. They certainly have gotten marginally louder over time (likely due to filter age) but really not bad at all. My (aging) refrigerator's cool cycle is louder than these things. I'm an audio engineer so I use my ears for a living and am particularly sensitive especially when I am working or trying to go to sleep. Not only is the purifier's noise imperceptible from more than 10 or so feet away, but I have on running all day in my studio where I work and I don't have to turn it off except to record exceptionally quiet sources. To be fair, this is all on the lowest setting. The higher settings are certainly noticeable, but about the same volume as my Mideas air conditioner.The app also works great. When there was renovations happening in the apartment below mine, I was able to periodically check in on the particulate levels while I was out for work and adjust the purifiers intensity as needed to make sure no unwanted drywall or wood dust settled in my apartment. The indicators on the units are helpful as well to see the air quality change when cooking or lighting...erm "incense" and know that the purifiers are doing their job and keeping the house clean and odor free. You can have the filters auto-set depending on particulate levels but honestly, they work so fast at the lowest setting I rarely find myself manually upping the intensity of the fan unless there is a serious cooking/smoke mishap or something similar. You're probably better off just keeping them on low 90% of the time.Recommend these to folks all the time as I do to you, dear reader.

I bought this as an open-box deal to save money, but I regret it—the LED light doesn’t work. However, aside from that issue, this air purifier is perfect.It runs quietly, and my allergies have significantly improved since using it. The app control is a great feature, allowing me to schedule when it turns on and off. While the replacement filters are expensive, they’re worth the cost for maintaining clean, high-quality air.One design feature I love is the pre-filter sleeve, which slips off easily for cleaning. This helps protect the main filter from dust and pet hair, extending its lifespan.Overall, I highly recommend this air purifier—but if you’re considering an open-box purchase, be aware that some features may not work properly.

This blueair air purifier works really good. It's not too noisy for it's size. It collects all the fine hairs floating around the room.

Purchased to help with airborne allergies and seems to have helped. I’ve been using it steadily since receiving it a few weeks ago and usually just leave it on the automatic setting. It seems to sense air changes well since it kicked into high gear when I was cooking pancakes (I do not have an exhaust fan in the kitchen) and then turned back down a little while after. I love that it can be controlled with my phone and that I can get a report on the air quality through the day. I have a family of four plus two new cats in a 1000 square foot space so it can get stuffy quickly but I’ve noticed that the house smells much fresher with this unit. One caution though, the fabric exterior is very enticing as a scratching post for cats so we had to put it up in a stand to keep it out of reach. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

I have 2 air purifiers from this manufacturer- an older smaller model and this one. I’m an allergy sufferer and there have been numerous wildfires in my region. These are quieter than any other air purifiers I have used, and they really do help with air quality. It helps that they have the outer fabric pre filter to catch some of the larger detritus and extend the life of the filters- a huge bonus if you have pets. I found the power buttons difficult to get the hang of initially, but have come to appreciate the design. The light in the panel/ buttons is not too bright for use in a bedroom. The devices themselves are a little expensive compared to others, and so are the replacement filters, but I am happy with them overall.

Good deal! This air purifier works very well for large rooms and significantly improves air quality. The HEPA Silent technology is efficient, and it's relatively quiet, which is a big plus. However, the app integration could be more user-friendly, and replacement filters are a bit pricey. Overall, it’s a solid product that delivers clean, fresh air effectively!

I am reviewing the BlueAir 211i Max and 411i Max series in this review as I bought both - one for living room and one for bedroom. Bottom line, these are very impressive units and for the price I am impressed and pleased with each for functionality and effectiveness. I think the aesthetics of it are pleasing as well. It looks nicer than a black box wheezing in your room.Pros for the BlueAir series. very very quiet. On auto maintenance mode - you can't hear the thing. These are smart machines. You can monitor every aspect of your air quality through the app. You can adjust the control lights from off to bright. It tracks months of air quality data for the room it is in by month, week, day. You can adjust from sleep mode, auto, and 3 fan speeds using the app remotely. It tells you how much filter life is left. It tells you the outside air quality and compares to your inside.Example of its effectiveness; I was sautéing some Italian sausage and onions, the unit detected the particles and immediately went into high mode for about 5 minutes until all the odor was eliminated and then went back to silent. The front LED bar changes from Blue to Green, orange and red depending on the air quality while at the same time adjusting the fan speed to address the corresponding level of air quality indicated. Same thing happened when smoking some meat on the back patio. I left the door open to bring in the food, the unit detected the smoke and the front LED went red. After closing the door, it ran on high mode until the LED indicators began to regress back to blue and the fan speed decreasing accordingly until all the smoke odor was eliminated from the room.Cons for the BlueAir product. It is a bit pricier than other options - but for all the differences - so far, I feel the Blue Air product is definitely worth the price difference, for me at least.What I have not addressed: the longivity of the products; the life of the filter; ease of maintaining; Both of my purchases are within the first month;
