These are the best felting needles I've tried. When I 1st started felting I ordered several different sizes from 2 different companies. Blue point needles are much stronger so the last much-much longer. They work well for general work & most detailed work too. Plus, they have 2x the amount of barbs, so they end up saving a lot of time. After I worked with Blue Point Needles for several days, I picked up 1 of the other brands - some of the other brands are good (not as strong though) but a few of the others I had bought seemed like it was taking 10 jabs to get the results Blue Point needles did with 2-3 jabs. TIP: Paint the top of the needles with colored fingernail polish so you can tell which ones are Blue Points - no need to pay extra for color-coded crappy needles when you can color code these needles yourself - they're better needles!
