I agree with other customers who say this is the best nonstick pan they have used. After a year of use (and I use it almost every day), it’s as good as new. I have been careful to only hand wash and use plastic or silicone utensils, but I believe the extra care is a small sacrifice for continued excellent performance. I bought the 5 quart pan and it is just as good, excellent for many dishes from sautéed vegetables to seared meat to Indian curry.

I've purchased four Blue Diamond pans; a 12" with cover, a 10", an 8" and the griddle. They distribute the heat evenly, food doesn't stick, are so easy to clean and don't mark up the top of my smooth surface electric stove, like other brands.I've had many name brand "non-stick" pans and they don't last, even though I don't use metal utensils they scratch and have to be replaced.I don't think I'm going to have that problem with these pans. Love them.

When I'm cooking just for myself, I don't want to get out a big skillet for just a couple of scrambled eggs. This pan is just the right size. It's non-stick and easy to clean up. It's high quality and a good value. I recommend it.

bought one and then two more of various sizes. They cook food so nicely. No food stuck to the pan. Wash up so easily. These pans are really nice to cook with and I roast chicken in the oven with them. When done, remove the chicken and then make the gravy on the stove in the same pan.!Bought these pans for my 3 kids and sister!

Love this pan. I’ve bought 3 more. I love the blue diamond and how non stick it is. Even eggs don’t stick! My favorite egg pan, they just slide right out. I do notice that around the top edges it is starting to chip after probably 3 or 4 months of use. Easy to wash, lightweight pan, not super thick so it heats up quickly and cooks fast. I would recommend for sure.

Love this blue diamond cookware. I have had caphalon, and ninja cookware, but always pull out the blue diamond when cooking. It is the best nonstick cookware I have used. Food does not stick to these, and put in dishwasher every time. Still holding up and have had this for long time. Definitely worth the investment.

I replaced my teflon pans with Blue Diamond pans. They are so non stick food just slides around in them (which is sometimes a challenge when you need to flip something). I love frying anything with a bread crumb coating because the crumb mixture doesn't stick like other pans. Easy to clean. It was well worth it to pay a little extra. Well made pans. Love them.

It's been just over a week and I have been using this pan every morning for breakfast. So far, it's pretty impressive. I do have some general ideas about non-stick pans in this price range: I don't expect them to last for years and years (even with the best care); I know I have to baby them a bit; I know that I cannot cook with them at very high heat.PROS:-- Right out of the packaging, the pan looks nice and sturdy.-- It seems to be a bit tougher than other nonstick pans when it comes to using and cleaning.-- It does heat up quickly.-- I was able to make good pancakes in it & my scrambled eggs just slid right out! (By the way, I noticed that the only pancakes that stuck a bit were made with batter higher in sugar content or when I hadn't cleaned the pan well.)-- I don't have the "hot handle" problem I see mentioned in other reviews. I do use the pan on a burner a tiny bit smaller than the bottom of the pan & I think that helps.-- Cleaning it is easy. All I have to do is let the pan cool first. When I am cooking something like pancakes, I can remove stray batter with a silicone spatula. I use a little soap and hot water to get all the residue out.CONS:I was immediately confused by the instructions. The front of the cardboard covers says this is safe for ovens & is "high heat resistant", but elsewhere, it's advised to use low-to-medium heat. This is why I hate the packaging. All the info is on the cardboard that the pan in tucked into. I like to save product info so this is inconvenient.-- Like with most non-stick pans, there are restrictions - ex: no EVOO; and don't heat when empty, etc. Some of these are worse than others. For instance, when fixing anything with a batter (ex: pancakes), I like to heat a pan fairly well before pouring in the batter. However, this pan heats up fast so I can pour in batter without much pre-heating.-- I don't think I will be using this to do any oil-frying because I don't want to use high heat. Also, I won't be large amounts of liquids (water) since it would be easy to let it boil to dry & damage the coating.-- Some of the things hyped about this are not really good for the pans. Says you can use metal utensils but that really isn't advised. The same thing goes for being dishwasher safe. To make the pan last as long as possible, I handwash/dry & keep a soft cloth in the pan when it's stored. Anything to keep from damaging the non-stick surface!-- Although I have a regular gas stove, the instructions for induction cooktops are pretty extensive & I don't know that I would want the extra work.-- For the best info on using, cleaning, and storing this pan, I had to go online. I wish they'd included a paper printout of info instead of my having to try to read that cardboard packaging.Overall, I don't mind the negatives too much because I know to be careful of ALL my nonstick pans. The one negative that bugs me the most is the "don't heat when empty" rule. I do like the pan a lot right now. If it lasts me a few years, I will be happy with it. I do have cheaper pans that are just as good. This one is a really good value though.Basically, the things that make a non-stick pan so good also mean there are drawbacks. This pan proves you don't have to spend a fortune on a decent piece of non-stick cookware.

Got this because we lived our Blue Diamond frying pan on our old burner style stove. It was 5 star but this is not as good. We also tried a Gotham Steel frying pan and so far we think that's a bit better option for induction stove.

This large frying pan is fantastic! It heats evenly, and the non-stick surface makes cooking and cleanup a breeze. The size is perfect for cooking meals for the whole family, whether it's pancakes, stir-fries, or sautéing veggies. The handle is sturdy and comfortable to grip, and it’s oven-safe, which adds extra versatility. It’s also durable and feels built to last. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality frying pan, this one is an excellent choice!

Give me some time to use this, and I will be back to write a better review. So far, I can tell you it came quickly and seems to be of excellent quality. It is not too heavy, which I like, but it is substantial, which I also like. I've only cooked one meal in it, and it had a sticky sauce (Garlic Hoisin). It was not "no-stick" for this first meal, and I had to soak and then scrape the heated sauce that stuck to it to get it completely clean. We'll see how that affects my next meal, which will probably be bacon and eggs.Scrambled eggs w/mushroom, bacon & cheese was delicious! It stuck where it was supposed to but a good a shuffle and a flip worked great toward the end. Well worth the price!
