Decent welding rod at a very good price. I found no oil, grease or other debris as others have complained about. The end of the inner box was open and some rods were protruding, but after weighing the box it appears all 10 lbs was there. Definitely needs a little more attention to padding the end of the box when packing.

I love these rods the more people that don't buy them the better for me as price goes downs. I see all these people complaining on how dirty they are, these are steel and its to prevent pitting and rusting. Ive never met a real Tig welder that does not acetone their wires before using them regardless of how dirty they are. I'm assuming most people they buy these don't really know but these are for flat welding on dirty metal only. anyone who Tig welds normally use clean metal and should be using Er70S-2 for out of position as well as general Tig welding. I also bought Er70s-2 because it is the go to rods for TIG welding. i bought these rods because te price was $23 for 1/8 10lbs of rods. Er70s-6 is better know for Mig welding because it can weld through grease and dirty metal. Do not hesitate to buy these tig rods and do not be scared of the grease its because of the climate changes it goes through to get to the USA. ive bought Lincoln rods that are no different.

Seems like a good value and I've been really happy with the quality. The deoxidizers do their job and the welds look better on semi rusty material.

Take this review with a grain of salt because I am just starting to learn to tig weld. These filler rods seem to work well, they are a bit long to try and handle but I've seen many people like to cut the 3 ft long rods in half to make them more manageable. Like I said I am a novice tig welder but for practicing I have only used a few rods and they seem to flow really well. They melt pretty quick once I have my puddle formed and the puddle is rather controllable, not sure how much of that is the rod vs welder/tungsten. Shipping was fast, had them the next day. The box they come in is a bit flimsy so be careful when moving them around because you may end up losing some out of one end. All that being said my first impressions are pretty high on this product.
