Really nice item. High quality materials, well made, thoughtfully designed. I love the gold lame inside, and all of the pockets. The hardware is pretty and the magnets are strong and hold together. I wish the cell phone holder was a bit bigger as most cell phones today are usually in a cover. It works, it's just tight. I like this and recommend it. very nice.

Such a pretty outside deserves a beautiful inside. I was disappointed with how "Gold" the color was on the inside. It looks cheap. The pockets are great and very convenient, but the color and the material just looks fake.

The overall look of this item to me is cheap, including the way the cutouts are done for putting your phone in, and the shiny gold pieces which would be more sophisticated if toned down. I don't see this as something a professional would want to carry. It doesn't come with a pad, so in order to use it you have to hunt that down - that seems like something that should have been included. In a pinch this can carry a few items and a pad for notetaking, but it wouldn't be something that would add to a well dressed professional look. I applaud that the "leather" is vegan, that's a positive thing.

This is overall a great faux leather portfolio. I love the exterior design and the magnetic close. The material feels pretty sturdy and has a professional appearance. The inside however, not a fan of the gold metalic color and material. My fear is the metalic material is doing to break down quickly and won't last as long as the one I am replacing that had more of a fabric material. That one lasted me over 10 years and I am concerned that daily use will make this one last maybe a year at most. I hope I'm wrong. The metalic gold is also a bit gawdy for a professional setting. The pictures online didn't show so I thought it was just a classy gold fabric. I do appreciate all of the pockets with room for all sorts of items. The spring clasp for the ruled notepad is a tad too low so the letter sized note pad is right at the edge of the portfolio. I wish it was shorter than the edge but I get it. Overall it's a good replacement and I will update my review should the longevity show itself with continued use.

I'm not sure if I was unjustly expecting more or if I'm just not feeling wowza over this product. I love anything that helps keep me organized and the product description seemed to place this right in my wheelhouse. It is not bad looking and is sturdy enough. I think I would have appreciated a note pad included in the folio. I've noticed that some of the organizational features are either silly or not big enough to be particularly useful ( phone holder I'm talking to you )I do love the magnetic closure and the concept of everything in one place is not lost on me. The problem is my everything is not your everything and for me there are excesses that I would have rather had left out and traded for a legal size note pad!

Although designed for women, I find this padfolio by Blu Monaco to work for men as well. The exterior is black with gold trim, and the interior is primarily faux leather in gold with gold accents. It has a stylish, metro look to it and I'm duly impressed with the overall features and functionality for this hand-held portfolio. Once opened, there are slots for an 8-1/2" x 11" pad of paper (not included), a cellphone (mine fit fine, and I have a 7" screen), earbuds or air pods, ID, credit cards, business cards, documents or a small tablet, pen holder and a zippered pouch for currency or loose change. To put it simply, Blu Monaco pretty much thought of everything in its design.It is nicely made and should hold up well with regular use. The price seems appropriate for a padfolio of this caliber; however, it would have been nice to have a single pad of paper included with the item. Its absence is noticeable, although the description doesn't specifically state that one would be included. Overall, though, this is a nice addition to one's business purchases, and ideal for business meetings where note taking is essential.Recommended. Made in China.
