I bought rail planters before and they did not fit. These however are well designed and fit my 5-inch railing perfectly...sturdy! Lovely colors...and I bought 7 now in total! Red! ! My balcony in my apartment has become a real garden area!!! It's really lovely and makes my apartment a real home! If you love to garden or you love flowers and all you have is a balcony....this will make your year!!!

Love this Rail Planter. Great size for my side deck railing. Very sturdy & well-made. I've had it for 3 months now and it is looking brand new. A great addition to my patio! Well worth the money

So pretty. At first I attached it to the railing with zip ties. Then I realized I would need to turn it because the flowers were growing toward the sun. Now it’s balancing there and is held on due to the weight and it’s been very stable. I love it.

we had just refurbished our deck and wanted a "top mounted" planter which would not strain the wood rail topper. This one has various size fittings on the bottom and did the trick. They are sturdy plastic, with nice color options.

Bought 3. Was really concerned about the fit on my composite deck rail which is 5 1/2" wide. They fit perfect. With all the soil that will go in these they will not blow off in a heavy wind or thunderstorm. There are a lot of drainage holes on either side of the planter. These do not drain directly on your rail. I'm just going to use potting soil with no pebbles or anything else to weight these down. Black will go perfect with my black wrought iron deck furniture & my gray composite deck.
