These are the best option for white. Beautiful, comfortable and sized accurately.

These are, hands down, the best ballet slippers on the market. They’re so pretty and the quality is great. I’ve never had a problem with them, and when my daughter grows out of them, they fetch top dollar at the children’s consignment shop because, despite weekly use at ballet class, they’re still in excellent condition. The sizing is on the bigger side. Obviously measure, but my rule-of-thumb with these is to buy one size up from my child’s shoe size. My daughter has fairly narrow feet, and I buy the regular width. The strings pull it tight enough.

These are excellent quality shoes and the price was right. Before you order measure your dancer's foot and use the sizing chart. My child has very narrow feet and even the most narrow size was a touch wide so be aware of the width measurements as well. The strings can be snugged up to make a tighter fit. The color is great and they work well as beginner ballet shoes. I would recommend them.

Much better quality and fit than the ones we tried on at Target and Payless. Very happy with them. My daughter wears 12-13 depending on the brand of shoes (we ended up buying tap shoes in size 12 1/2 at Payless). Bought size 13 and they fit great with room to spare (but not too much). The little bow at the front is functional, it allows you to tighten the shoe to fit. I am learning that ballet shoes are on the wide end of the spectrum and they all have that functional bow that allows you to tighten up the width (at least the ones we tried at Target and Payless had that same feature, if I remember correctly). BTW, if you are new to ballet (which we are), I discovered that my daughter is the rare child in her class with black ballet shoes... maybe should have bought the ballet pink ones? I don't think she minds, and they will stay looking better longer because they will hide dirt, but if you have a child that feels very self conscious if they stand out in some way, maybe stick with the pink/nude color.

My daughter recently bought street shoes and was a size 13 (and her feet measure wide), but the 13D in these were a bit loose. With the elastic at the ankle, and with the elastic bow that can be cinched up a bit, they fit well enough where we are not returning. She is able to dance in them and feel comfy. But a smaller size would have been better. Seems nice quality and no uncomfortable seams under the sole.

Daughter wears size 12 street shoes. Ordered 13 1/2 after reading how small they run. Shoes were way too big so should've only gone up 1/2 size. Quality looks good. Elastic ties cinch well. Had no problems with the straps not being sewn on well as some reviewers did. My only issue really is that the shoes didn't match each other well. One looked brand new leather and the other was noticeably softer and more flexible like it was already broken in. That one actually seems like it would be more comfortable but doesn't look as nice starting out. It's hard to show in a picture but ones I've included are after being worn once for a very short time

These shoes are very nicely made, and cheaper than I can get them at my daughter's dance school. They seem to run slightly larger than street shoe size, but I think that has to do with how tightly you like them to fit. My daughter is a 13 1/2 shoe size normally, but there is a little extra room in the toes -- even when we exchanged the size 1 for a 13 1/2 ballet shoe. This is good if you like room to grow, but for a one-time performance I'd get a 1/2 size smaller than your street shoes.

My son has been dancing since he was 3 and outgrows slippers so quickly, I've bought cheaper brands in the past. They do not compare. The leather is harder and less pliable. as a dancer myself, I know how important it is to feel no barrier between the feet and the floor (I've been using Bloch for over a decade). These slippers come with pre-attached elastics (bonus!). For sizing, you need to consider two things: 1) Block are about 1/2 size too small 2) unless you intend to undo the knot every wear, you want to go half a size up again, so you can get wiggly little feet into them. I went a full size larger than street shoes (he's a 13.5 and I bought him a 1.5) and they're perfect.
